Kristsi looked up at the complex. "Why is it here?" She said to herself. "It's just a house. Surely it can't be here." But the buzz was unmistakable. Just why she had been drawn here, she didn't know, but the buzz got stronger everytime she got nearer. Her route to school took her a couple of blocks away, and every day she had moved nearer to it to find out just what it was she was feeling. It was the stragest feeling, but there was no mistaking it now. It was Here. "Well, nothing to do but go in, I guess. I've got to know what this is all about. But I can't just ring the bell, I don't even know why I'm here." She giggled as she imagined the scene that could play out as she walked up to the door. "Ummm, I don't know why I'm here, but I feel DRAWN towards your house." The look she imagined on the butler's face was hilarious. She imagined her butler at home and grew more hysterical.

Then she heard the purring. "Kitty!" As she followed the noise, she came closer and closer to the backyard.

Susanne saw the girl on the security cameras before George came in. As he entered, Susanne answered his question before he could ask it. "No, I don't know who she is, but I sense the presence of a new Otaku.

Meredith nodded with the most somber expression George had as yet seen on her face. "And her Aura's lavender." With this she could hold in the giggles no longer, and her laughter was contagious. Susanne, too, broke out into uncontrollable giggles.

Susanne saw the look on George's face and said through the giggles, "Don't call the cops. We'll deal with her. She's one of us."

Kristsi had made it into the backyard, which was no small feat. That gate had been a bear to find, and she began again to search for the source of the purring. "Here Kitty kitty kitty...." Then she jumped at what she saw. There, in a patch of sun on the grass, was a tiger, asleep in the sun. She stayed back at first, then curiousity got the better of her as she cautiously approached.

Susanne watched form the other side of the yard. Roger was awake, and he and Susanne exchanged mischevious looks. The girl finally got close enough to pet the tiger, and as she reached down to touch him, he allowed her to stroke once, then reached up and with a growl grabbed her hand, or rather, entire arm (she was a small girl!) in his mouth. The girl jumped, but didn't scream as she knew she wasn't being hurt, but rather teased. She could sense the Buzz stronger than ever, and was sure It must be nearby.

Thinking quickly, she gently, but firmly, grabbed the tiger's tongue and pulled. He quickly stood up and followed her around--he had no chioce, she had his tongue!!!--as she cooed to him.

"Yes, aren't we a strong tiger now aren't we? Mr. Kitty is so obedient! Does Mr Kitty want a bath?" She headed for the fountain and Roger was unceremoniously drenched in the water.

At this, Susanne could hold it in no longer. She came out, laughing so hard she was nearly rolling on the floor. She walked up to the girl and gave her a high five. "That's the funniest thing I've seen in a long while!!!" she said as she looked over at the pathetic figure of Roger all drenched. He looked quite a bit smaller. "About time his head got shrunk back to normal size." Both of them were laughing at this point. Roger shook himself, and trying to salvage some semblance of dignity, changed into his human form and walked away.

The girl's eyes grew really huge, and she immediatly stopped laughing. "What was that?" she tenatively asked.

"Just my Guardian," Susanne replied. "You've got one too, you know. All Otaku do."

"All what? How on earth do you know who I am?" The girl was the definite source of the Buzz, but it wasn't fair that she knew who Kriststi was, while Kristsi didn't have the slightest incling who this girl was.

"Your aura is lavender. Look all around you." Susanne replied simply. "And we can sense each other. I'm Susanne, by the way. Hotohori no Otaku."

"I'm Kristsi." She looked at her hand and did notice a faint glow. "Cool!" She remarked to herself, then to Susanne, "Hotor- what???"

"Come inside. We'll get you all caught up." Susanne led Kristsi into the house and up to her room.

-------------------------

Once all the Otaku were gathered, they proceded to tell the story, each interrupting each other and anxious to be heard. Here were fresh ears to talk to, and they all loved to talk anyway. Somehow, Kristsi managed to make some sense of the whole thing.

"Wow. So which Bishounen is mine?" They all looked at her blankly.

Meredith finally asked, "You mean you don't know?" then giggled. "It's okay, I still don't REALLY know who mine is, all I've got's a name. But they tell me he's pretty hot!" At this she giggled uncontrollably, and was startled to see Kristsi doing the same thing.

"I'm glad to know they're hot... I'd hate to risk my neck for an ugly dude!" Now everyone was rolling on the floor. "And I hope my Guardian is as hot--wet or dry-- as yours, Sus!!!"

Roger had entered in time to hear that last comment. He blushed deeply and walked right back out. The rest of the group was laughing uncontrollably now, and Kristsi turned around just in time to see Roger turn and leave.

Meredith jumped up, as she was wont to do, and gave Kristsi a high five. "I felt the same way...!" She was about to say more, then thoughtbetter of it for once. The last thing she needed was for Zeke to hear that. He already knew he was pretty good looking, and Meredith didn't want to expand his head at all. Seth was bad enough, from what she'd heard.

Then Kristsi asked a question that sombered the whole group. "But what about Celly?" The silence was immeadiate. "And why are we so upset when we're supposed to be fighting her?"

Susanne was the only one who could say it. "We must fight, it's true. We may end up fighting each other. Be prepared for that. But we fight each other, not ourselves."

"That's right," Meredith jumped in. "Celly may be our enemy, but even she deserves the honor of winning or losing to an Otaku, not to herself."

"But is there anything we can really do?" Mercy asked.

Anaera was grave. "I doubt it. Celly's on her own with this one."
