MY DAYS AFTER THE GOOSE
My dad transferred to K.I. Sawyer, MI where he stayed until his retirement in Jan 1970. We moved to his home in Turner Center, Maine where I completed my final 2.5 years of h igh school. Entered the Air Force in Aug 72. Received my BS in 1977 and my Air Force Commission in 1979 in through Officer Training School. During my 20 year Air Force career, I worked in several different positions, all in the Communications Field. Was assigned to Travis AFB, CA in 1992 when I retired. In February 1994 began working for the California Department of Corrections.

Years At The Goose: 1966-1968
Best Friends: Ricky Harris, Robert Truman, Kurt Spencer and so many more who I can't remember.
Best Memories: During the summer, breaking into a ice fishing house, and with the intent to roast hot dogs, starting a fire inside which got a little out of control. Berging. Dances at the teen center. Playing baseball and basketball. Finding a case of Kaluha under a pine tree behind the NCO Club. Ricky Harris putting a dime in a slot machine in the NCO Club, hitting a jackpot, and trying to convince the manager that he should be allowed to keep the money. Most of all, the "Family" of the Goose. How I do miss you all.
Worst Memories: Leaving the Goose
