Obituary: WILBRAHAM - Dorothy G. (Clark) Bolt, 85, of Bowie, Md., formerly
of Wilbraham and
Grafton, died Thursday in Prince George Hospital, Cheverly, Md., after
a short illness.
Her husband, Joseph C. Bolt, died in 1968. She leaves a son, Richard B.
Bolt of Bowie, Md., with
whom she lived; three brothers, Theodore H. Clark of South Dennis, Gilbert
E. and Gordon L. Clark,
both of Grafton; a grandson; nephews and nieces. She was born in Grafton,
daughter of Theodore
and Clara (Buxton) Clark. She lived several years in Falls Church, Va.,
before returning to Grafton
from 1945 to 1955. She then lived 36 years in Wilbraham before moving to
Bowie in 1991.
She graduated from Grafton High School in 1926.
Mrs. Bolt was once a dental assistant to Dr. William L. Shipman in Worcester.
She and her husband
then founded Bolt Co., later Wright Line Inc., in Worcester.
Mrs. Bolt was once a member of First Baptist Church, now the Baptist Church
of Grafton, and the
King's Daughters. She was a longtime school-lunch volunteer in Grafton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Robert C. Roney Funeral Home,
152 Worcester St.,
North Grafton. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Grafton. Calling hours
at the funeral home are
6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
