Before I go into my genealogy on the Skibick line, I would like to help out a Chicago Skibicki cousin who needs help finding their biological parents!!!
We are looking for any information on an WILLIAM SKIBICKI and IRENE FLOWERS who were in and possibly still are in the Chicago, IL area!!!
Little is known, but William Skibicki and Irene Flowers (never married to our knowledge) had three children (Brian, Steve and Maileen) who were adopted. One of the children was born in 1985/86 and is the youngest of the three.

This page is dedicated the the ancestors and decendents of ANTON SKIBICKI who was born in Poland around the 1850's came to America then married a PAULINE BIELECKI in St. Louis Missouri on November 23, 1883. ANTON died prior to 1910, because Pauline was widowed on the 1910 census, and he probably passed away in St. Louis, however we are unable to locate his grave. Between the two, they had a total of 9 surviving children all born in St. Louis, Missouri between 1887 and 1905. Pauline later remaried a Francheska LIPSKI and died under that name on November 16, 1915 and was burried in Calvary Cemetery (Section 5 Lot J Grave 312) in St. Louis City, Missouri.
1. Bobslaus Skibicki was born approx. 1887 in St. Louis, MO. He married a Laura Corant on September 5, 1910 in St. Louis, MO. His death and children information in unknown.
2. Rose Agnes Skibicki was born February 22, 1888 in St. Louis, MO and died June 10, 1955 in St. Louis, MO and burried in Calvary Cemetery. She married a John Stanislaus Drozkowski on November 22, 1907 in St. Louis, MO. Together they had 9 children, that can be viewed on our DROZKOWSKI Page.
3. Robert Skibicki was born on January 15, 1890 in St. Louis, MO and died March 21, 1966 in St. Louis, MO and is burried in Calvary Cemetery (Section 4A Lot 1769). Robert was married to a Bessie and had the following children:
i. Frank Donald Skibicki (B. 26 Sep 1934 ; D. 04 Apr 1995 - in St. Louis, MO and burried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Section 1C Grave 42). Frank was married to a Rosemary Weir (B. 22 Feb 1940 ; D. 19 Feb 1991 - in St. Louis, MO and burried at Ressurection Cemetery Section 43 Lot 674). Children of the two are unknown.
ii. Evelyn Skibicki dates unknown, and married a Mr. Johnson and rumored to of moved to Alaska.
iii. William Skibicki (B. 08 Aug 1933; D. Nove 1976 - in Kansas City, MO.)
4. Anthony J. Skibicki was born August 21, 1892 in St. Louis, MO and died January 29, 1953 in St. Louis, MO and is burried in Calvary Cemetery (Section 24 Lot 2061). Anthony married a Theresa. Children and other info. unknown.
5. Mary Skibicki who was born approx. 1895 in St. Louis, MO. Other info unknown.
6. Frank J. Skibicki born September 12, 1896 in St. Louis, MO and died January 29, 1953 in St. Louis, MO and burried in Calvary Cemetery (Section 5 Lot S). Frank married a Helen Liefeld. They had the following children:
i. Mary Ellen Skibicki (B. 08 Dec 1932 ; D. 05 Jan 1966 in St. Louis, MO and burried in Calvary Cemetery.
ii. Pauline Ann Skibicki (B. 13 Dec 1938 ; D. ) married a Donald Leo Hasse-Thompson and had no children.
iii. Francis Willard Skibicki dates and info. unknown.
7. Tina Skibicki was born approx. 1900 in St. Louis, MO. and died December 31, 1964. Dates and other info. unknown.
8. Martha Skibicki was born approx. 1902 in St. Louis, MO and died August 3, 1960 in St. Louis, MO and is burried in Calvary Cemetery (Section 4A Lot 1872). She never married and had no children.
9. Helen Skibicki was born approx. 1905 in St. Louis, MO. She married an Edward Soleski. We believe that Edward died approx. 1954 in St. Louis, MO and Helen later moved to Texas (possibly with an Alexander Family member) and died in TX approx. 1997-98 in the San Antonio area.
