Libertarian Party

The Libertarian Party (LP) of Hawai'i meets on the first Tuesday of every month in the conference room of the Columbia Inn restaurant at 645 Kapi'olani Blvd. (When you walk in the main entrance, the conference room is to the left.)
You do not need to be an LP member to attend these meetings, but if you would like to join the Party, attending a meeting is a good start. Chair Roger Taylor can be reached by e-mail at rogert@pixi.xom
The state LP publishes a monthly newsletter, Hawai'i Libertarian , and the national LP publishes the monthly LP News . You may subscribe to both of these periodicals without becoming a LP Member, but the price is the same as for membership: $25. (a lower student rate can be negotiated). The primary difference between membership and subscription is that as a member you have to sign a simple statement of principles.

On TV

If you have cable, you may tune in to Channel 54 ('Olelo) on Sunday evenings from 9.00 to 10.00pm and watch a prerecorded Hawai'i LP meeting or other Hawai'i LP event.

On the radio

Lee Kirk , who is a libertarian but not a Libertarian (Party member), hosts a news/talk show every day on KHNR, AM650, from 3 to 6pm.
