This class will focus on literature from around
the globe, including two novels; Things Fall Apart and
The Kitchen God's Wife, and two plays; Shakepeare's Macbeth and Sophocles' Antigone. Students will conduct written analysis of the literature as well as primary and secondary research, expository, and creative writing. Students will also practice process writing, taking several pieces through a rough draft, revision, and final draft process for each grading period. |
