Well 2001 is half over and thought it was time for some updated info.  For those of you that don't know me and my family here is a little info.  

I'm Susan Garcia originally from Kentucky (hence the screen name), but I have been residing
in California since 1984.  My husband is Ambrocio Garcia, Jr. (Bro) and we will be married 10 years this November.  We have 2 adorable little boys.  Kenny is 8 1/2(Bday 6/24/92) and Dalice is 5 1/2 (Bday 5/26/95).  

Bro works in heavy construction.  He has been involved in my road around the state as well as bridges and most of the prision in California too.  

I run my own tax and bookkeeping business from a little 13' x 6' office in our house.  I am also a book representative for Display Marketing Group (DMG).  This is a lot of fun and can make a real nice living doing it.  

I also enjoy painting ceramics, sewing and of course rebating and
couponing.  Love to curl up with a good mystery, sci-fi or V.C. Andrews book whenever I can find the time.  

My son, Kenny has just completed his first year of competition for Acrobatics Gymnastics.  This has been lots of fun and a real blast watching him improve and grow.  My son, Dalice is planning on going in to gymnastics this fall, so maybe one day I will have them both in competition.

My son's school has some really modern ideas about fund raising and it is something I have decided to share with all of you as well.  They have what is called a "Scrip Program" This is actually quite simple.  They sell gift certificates for all kinds of businesses.  You buy your gift certificats from the school instead of the retailer.  The retailers have made special arrangement with the school that all the gift certificates that they sell they will 
give them a percentage of the proceeds.  For example if you use your and my kid doesn't have to sell candy or magazines to all our friends.  If this idea sounds neat to you be sure to watch my new list of the certificates that can be purchased through our school on my upcoming link for School Projects.  On there I will list the
national businesses that are involved in our program, along with the details of ordering and receiving your purchase once you have ordered.  Also make sure you read about the bonus I am willing to give you for helping out the school.
