Lemmy Is Run Over

By Wendy

Lemmy rolled merrily down the road, as he was accustomed to doing.  Suddenly a piano fell from the sky and landed on him.  Lemmy was squashed, but soon popped up and continued on his way.

Lemmy looked both ways before crossing a street, but was knocked down by a low-flying garbageship as he crossed.  Lemmy rolled head over heels down the street.  Two blocks down the road he got up and dusted himself off just in time to fall victim to a motorcycle gang riding down the street.

Roadkill Lemmy crawled to his ball and got out of the street as fast as he could.  He was not fast enough to avoid being trampled by a passing marching band.

Lemmy popped up again and ducked inside a building, where he thought he would be safe.  Suddenly he heard a deafening smash and he was sent flying by a wrecking ball.

Lemmy landed back in the same road, where he was promptly flattened by a steamroller.  When he got up again he cut across a baseball field to get home.  There he was whacked in the side of the head by a flying baseball.  Lemmy turned a somersault in midair and fell down.

Lemmy had almost gotten up again when he was smashed under the foot of a rampaging dinosaur that had escaped from Giant Land.  He finally fell off the dinosaur’s foot twenty miles away from the castle.

Lemmy began to make his way home.  Along the way he was squashed by a meteor, a space station, and an army tank.  Finally Lemmy got back to the front door of the castle.

Just as he was about to go in, the entire castle inexplicably lifted up off the ground, shifted five feet forward, and fell.  Guess what? Lemmy got squashed under it.

“Well that was fun,” Lemmy thought.
