KENNETH BRANAGH is an irish actor, as well as director and producer,  born in Belfast, N. Ireland in 1960.  He Graduated from the Royal  Acedemy of Arts in 1981.  He won the "Laurence Olivier Award" in 1982 for most promising actor.  He spent 2 years in the Royal Shakespeare Company as he worked on TV shows.  In 1987 he put on a performance at the Renaissance Theatre Co. under the Patronage of the Prince of Wales.  He put on the play "Hamlet" at Denmark's Elsinore Castle in 1988.  He quickly sold out at his performances of "King Lear" and A Midsummer's Night Dream in Los Angeles in 1990.  His first big film, he both produced, directed and starred as , ours truly, Henry V in Henry V, with his wife,
Emma Thomson starring as Princess Kathryn of France.  He also worked with Patrick Doyle for an excellent performance soundtack for the film.  Branagh also starred with his Wife, Thomson, Derek Jacobi the Chorus in Henry V, and worked with Patrick Doyle in Dead Again (below).  He also starred in another movie with his wife in Peter's Friends.  In 1993 he directed and starred in Much Ado About Nothing.  Branagh married Thomson (below) in 1989 just before Henry V.
