Graveyard Treats
Ingredients:
Directions:
My Cauldran has been brewing up some devilsih dishes for you to try.
But remember~~"don't go to near my witches oven,
cause curious kiddies will get themselves a shovin!
2 1/4 C.-chocolate wafer cookie crumbs, divided
1/2 C.-sugar, divided
1/2 C.-margarine, melted
1-8oz- pkg. cream chesse, softened
1-12oz- cool whip, thrawed
2-C.- boiling water
1-8 serving size Jell-O orange gelatin
1/2 C.- cold water
ice cubes
assorted rectangle shaped sandwich cookies
decorating icing, candy corn, & candy pumpkins
Mix 2 cups of the cookie crumbs, 1/4 cup of the sugar & margarine in a 13x9 pan. Press firmly onto bottom of pan. Refrigerate.
Beat cream cheese & remaining 1/4 cup sugar in a bowl until smooth. Stir in 1/2 of the whipped topping. Spread over crust. Stir boiling water into the gelatin in bowl for 2 minutes or till dissolved. Mix cold water & ice to make 1 1/2 cup. Stir into gelatin until slightly thickened. Remove any remaining ice. Spoon over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 3 hours, till firm. Spread remaining whipped topping over gelatin. Sprinkle with remaining cookies crumbs. Decorate as a graveyard. Serves 15-18
1 Keebler reduce fat graham cracker crust
Hard boil as many eggs as you want to use.
Ingredients:
~~Mix together the following until smooth: ~~
1-Cup- cold skim milk
1-16oz.-can pumpkin
2 small pkgs.-Jello instant sugar-free vanilla pudding
1-tsp.- ground cinamon
1/2-tsp.- ground ginger
1/4-tsp.- ground cloves
Spoon into crust. Refrigerate for 5 hours
Eyes
1 catainer of whipped cream cheese
1 jar of green olives
red food coloring
Cut eggs in half. Put some whipped cream cheese onto top of eggs. Cut olives into small pieces to use as eyes. With a tooth pick; dip into red food coloring and put lines through the creamed cheese.

Directions:
Make equal quanities of cherry and lime jello. When set, mash each color up seperately. Place alternate layers of slimy gelatin into large bowl. Top with "eyeballs" of whipped cream blobs and place M&Ms in the center.
Ingredients:
The seeds you remove from your pumpkin make a tasty fall snack.
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
1 can (5oz) chow mein noodles
1 cup salted peanuts
Place chocolate morsels in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts. Add noodles and peanuts,
stirring well. Drop chocolate mixture by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking
sheets. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Keep chilled until ready to
serve. Yield: about 3 dozen.
Dinner in a Pumpkin
You will need: 1 small to medium pumpkin, 1 4-oz can sliced mushrooms drained, 1 onion chopped, 1 10-oz can cream of chicken soup, 2 TBS vegetable oil, 1 8-oz can sliced water chestnuts drained, 1 1/2 to 2 lbs ground beef, 1 1/2 cups cooked rice, 2 TBS soy sauce, 2 TBS brown sugar
Cut off top of pumpkin; clean out seeds and pulp. Paint on appropriate face on front of pumpkin with permanent marker or acrylic paint. In a large skillet, sauté' onion in oil until tender; add meat and brown. Drain drippings from skillet. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, mushrooms and soup; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add cooked rice and water chestnuts. Spoon mixture into pumpkin shell. Replace pumpkin top and place entire pumpkin, with filling, on a baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour in 350 degree oven or until inside meat of pumpkin is tender. Put pumpkin on a plate; remove top and serve. For your vegetable, scoop out cooked pumpkin and serve. Serves 6 people

1 Orange Kool-aid
2 C- sugar
3 quarts- ice water
1 liter- ginger ale
Directions:
In pitcher {or plastic witches cauldran}, dissolve the mix and 2 cups of sugar in water. Just before serving, add gingerale.
Pumpkinseed Treats
1. Wash the seeds well.
2. Spread them out on a cookie sheet.
3. Sprinkle about 4 tablespoons of corn oil over the seeds. Add alittle salt.
4. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes, or until light brown.
Chocolate Spiders

Add a few drops of green food coloring to a plain sour-cream based chip or vegetable dip and scatter small bits of red and yellow bell pepper across the top.
2 liter chilled ginger ale 1/2 gallon lime sherbet Allow sherbet to soften for about 1 hour in bottom of punch bowl. Pour ginger ale over and stir until all sherbet is dissolved. For a great Halloween treat, serve in a large well-cleaned pumpkin with a great face painted in it!
You will need: 2 cups Bisquick, 2 tablespoons Brown sugar -- packed, 2 teaspoons Cinnamon, 1 teaspoon Allspice, 1 1/2 cups Evaporated milk, 1/2 cup Solid pack pumpkin, 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil, 2 Eggs, 1 teaspoon Vanilla
In large mixing bowl, combine bisquick, sugar, cinnamon and allspice. Add evaporated milk, pumpkin, oil, eggs, and vanilla; beat until smooth. For each pancake, pour 1/4 to 1/2 cup batter (depending on size you want) on to heated, lightly greased griddle. Cook until top is bubbly and edges are dry. Turn pancakes; cook until golden. Keep warm. Serve with syrup or honey.
You will need: 1 Pound ground beef ,1 Large onion, chopped 1 Teaspoon salt ,1/4 Teaspoon pepper, 1 Cup stewed tomatoes, 1 Can Whole Kernel Corn -- (2 1/2 C.), 1/4 Pound Cheddar cheese, cubed
Place ground beef, onion, salt and pepper in skillet. Cook and stir overheat until meat is lightly browned and onion is soft. Drain off grease before adding other ingredients. Add tomatoes and corn. Cover and simmer over low heat about 30 minutes. Stir in cheese cubes. Cover skillet and let stand a minute or two until cheese melts. Serve with nacho chips.
