Thoughts: I liked how they sang pretty upbeat that you could kinda get a feel of. Some songs were slow, but they were sweet and melodic. I have always listened to the Beatles since I was about 1 year old. My family always had Beatles LPs around. The first song that influenced me to like them was "I'm So Happy Just to Dance With You."

Thoughts: They all went their own ways..they wanted to start their own careers. Although I do think they would play together once in a while. If they would have gotten back together it would have happened before John had died. But who knows. John once said that if he woke up one morning and thought, "hey let's get back together" he would ask the guys if they wanted to. It would have been a spur of the moment type deal. The first song that influened me by the beatles was "In My Life". It's such a strong song. I was introduced to them by my mother and my brother. They are what keeps me mellow and keeps me a happy person. They are the Greatest Band Alive! John Lennon was so amazing! It's so sad he is gone. God Bless him.

Thoughts: I LOVE the Beatles because when I'm upset or mad the music makes me nice and calm. I love their beat especially the guitar and drums. I was 15 when I first started to like them. I was driving around with a couple of friends when "Love Me Do" came on. I asked my friend, Chuck who the band was and he said the Beatles. I love that song especially the hormonica. Every time I hear their music I get this feeling inside that makes me really hyper. What happened to John Lennon was truly a shame and may he rest in peace!! We love you John!!

Thoughts: I can't remember the first song I heard. I've been listening to the Beatles for as long as I can remember--my parents played it when I was young. I guess I just kept listening to them. I liked "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and I saw the lyrics to it in a book, so I bought the book, and just kept reading and reading and I loved them more and more!!!!! And I'm still crazy about them! When I heard form some one that a song was good, I bought the album, and I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!

Thoughts: I was around the time the Anthologies series appeared on TV (I was 16). I was in a Art History class, and there were four guys who had to talk about modern music. And they said "If we have to talk about the greatest band in world history , we must talk about the Beatles". Of course, I knew the Beatles, but only knew "Yesterday" and "Let it Be". So they showed "Please Please Me" live, and I saw all those girls screaming, and I loved the beat. So, I went home and asked my mother if she had some old records, and I played "20 Greatest Hits". And this is how all began.

Thoughts: I started to really dig the Beatles and appreciate them in a deeper way when I heard "This Boy" off of the black Pastmasters album. I guess I was about 17 at the time. Until then, I liked the Beatles about as much as I did all the other bands from their era. I was always aware of the fact that the Beatles were the start of rock & roll as we know it now. An observation I've made is that you either love the Beatles or you love Elvis, but few people I've met love them both. You sort of have to make a decision and be loyal to who you choose. F*ck Elvis, man!

Thoughts: I met a guy named Ramesh Srivastava when I was 12 who got me into the Beatles. The first Beatles song I remember ever hearing is "I Am the Walrus". I was hooked from then on. =)

Thoughts: I first heard the Beatles on the radio when I was about 9. They played "Strawberry Fields," and I was completely transfixed by it. It was like nothing else I had ever heard. A couple years later, I found the Sgt. Pepper's and Hard Day's Night soundtrack records at my grandmother's house, and listened to both of them. That's about the time when my obsession truly took off. Recently, I got to go to New York on a school trip to see the Lennon memorial in Central Park and Strawberry Fields.

Thoughts: I am 18 years old now. I loved the Beatles ever since I can remember. All of their music is great, but I really love the music after they went full time into the studio. That's when they started experimenting with new sounds which are evident on tracks like "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" and "Octopus' Garden". I think what influenced me the most is their tight harmony, great lyrics, and just how well they work together.

Thoughts: I first heard the Beatles when I was about 14. The first song I liked was: "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and "Love Me Do". The Beatles seemed very hip and together when they first came to the U.S. and most adults didn't like their hair styles. So that was enough for me to like them. Plus they were very good.

Thoughts: My older brother played the music and collected all of the albums. I also saw 'Let it Be' when it came out in 1970, I was only 7. Over the years I listened to my brother's records. In high school I hooked up with friends that also liked the Beatles. We use to go to a local record store that had old used albums. There, I began my collection. I also aquired some more albums from a friend that was a big Beatles fan and went to their concert in Seattle in 1964, the year I was born. I really enjoyed John's wit, and was listening to the radio and watching Monday night football when it was announced he was shot. It was my sophomore year in high school and I was really looking forward to Xmas when I would get his double fantasy album. It was interesting to me the phenomenon that the Beatles created. That year I did research and completed an 18 page term paper on the group. Most people thought I was wierd.

Thoughts: Their beat, like Epstein once said, influenced me. When you push play, and McCartney calls: One, Two, Three... Fawr!!! They rhythm really gets to me, thats why "I Saw Her Standing There" is one of my favourite songs by the Beatles.

Thoughts: The funny thing is, the first time I heard the Beatles, I didn't like them! Here's the story: I was about 13(5 or so years ago) and was listening to "Hello Goodbye" on the radio. I thought, Gosh, what sort of song is this? Hello Goodbye? Dumb lyrics! Little did I know that it was the same band that sang "Hey Jude" which was probably the first song I loved of the Beatles. My dad had a record of songs on guitar and "If I Fell" was one of them. I remember that when I was pretty small (about 6 or 7) dad used to always play it around me. It was all instrumental, but I loved the song nevertheless. Years later when hearing the Beatles singing it, I loved it even more! So now I really love them, and truly believe that there never will be a band that can reach the Beatles' standard :o) Oh, my answer to question one is a maybe.

Thoughts: My dad mainly got me hooked when I was real little. He'd say "What does the Walrus say?" "Goo goo g'joob," of course. Until I really got hooked on the Beatles when I was older, I had no idea that that wasn't something that was common knowledge. Anyway, the first Beatle song that really got me hooked was "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," when I borrowed the "White Album" from my dad when I was 13.

Thoughts: My dad played them for me as a kid. I was five or six when I heard the White Album. "Martha My Dear" was my favorite as a kid(still is!). "Hard Days Night" reminds me of my dad cause he worked hard at night when I was a little girl!
