Thoughts: I have to admit that it was my sister that influenced me the most. I really got interested in The Beatles at about the age of ten. "Imagine" first influenced me in The Beatles.

Thoughts: The beauty of the melodies; the fabulous harmony singing. I started to like them at the age of 10 in 1964 when I first saw them playing "She Loves You" on television. The first record I bought was "I Should Have Known Better" in 1966. Love your site, keep up the good work.

Thoughts: I am 24 right now and I started to like oldies when I was 3. I just began to like the Beatles last year when I saw them on The Ed Sullivan Show at the Museum Of Television and Radio in New York City. The first song I heard from them was "She Loves You". My favorite song now is "All My Loving".

Thoughts: I've always loved the Beatles. My parents and my aunt are all Beatles fans. I can't remember ever not liking the Beatles. The first stuff I ever heard from the Beatles was probably "A Hard Day's Night" and other early Beatles, But I've come to love all of their stuff, from "Please Please Me" to "Abbey Road". Long live the Beatles; we'll always love you!

Thoughts: I heard "IN MY LIFE" when I was seven years old. I was in the car driving to Maryland to see my mom's boyfriend. That was and always will be my favorite song of all time. I dont know why but I just connected with the lyrics and the sweet sound of the music. As I got older, I started researching the band members and listening to more of their music. I fell in love with it. John Lennon is a genius(not to mention the cutest out of the group). He is an excellent writer. Paul has the more musical gift. I regret that I was born 16 years after the band broke up because I would have loved to be a part of Beatlemania. My mom was born in 63 so she was too young also. But I still love the Beatles and their music, even though my friends would rather listen to Jay-Z(whats so appealing about him TALKING about his money, women, and cars to a synthesizer anyway??)and every time "Hey Jude", "Come Together", "In My Life", or any other song comes on the radio, I stop what I'm doing and just listen. Sometimes I'll break out my guitar and play along.(but I don't kid myself--I'll never have a voice like John's). The Beatles are definately one of the best bands of all time and they made good music, music that can touch people and should be passed down through generations. I feel priviledged ot have learned this at such a young age--I'm 13 years old.

Thoughts: I'm 26, so you could say the Beatles arn't really my era, so how did I come to love this band so much? My dad, was the biggest Beatles fan but as a child and young teenager I just used to mock his 'old fashioned' taste in music. But one summer I was feeling bored - I was 15. I was rooting through my dad's record collection and decided to stick on the Beatles 1962-66 compilation album and for the fist time I actually LISTENED to the music - and what can i say, I was just bowled over by the musical genius of the songs. Every song was a gem and from then on I religiously played every album over and over again. My favourite Beatles'song has to be the magnificent "A Day In The Life" - my favourite album, that's a difficult one. It's a close tie between "Rubber Soul", "Sgt. Pepper" and "Revolver". But every Beatles era from the early mop tops to the long haired breaking up period is wonderful. And isn't amazing how they progessed in such a shor time- seven years, there will never be a band like them again. Thank you John, Paul, George and Ringo. And thank you dad for giving me the music! I would like to dedicate this to my father Eddie Read who passed away last year.

Thoughts: George Harrison wrote that song for John Lennon(My 2nd Fav very close!) and he played with Tom Petty and The Traveling Wilburys and Eric Clapton. I started at age 9, but didn't get really into them until 11. The first songs I remember are "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "Oh Darling" The song that I would say influenced me is "Let It Be".

Thoughts: My friend...we'll just call her Yurtle the Turtle, introduced me to them and what can I say? It was love at first sight! About...I would say 11 years old. The first song I heard was when I was 9 or so and it was "I Should Have Known Better". Yurtle the Turtle sang it in a talent show.

Thoughts: I'm a Beatles-fan since about 2 years, when I was 19 years old. And this is how I came to love them: of course I'd heard Beatles songs before and liked them, but I didn't know anything about the band. Then I browsed through our library and discovered a book about them( by Hunter Davies).This fascinated me so much, that I read more and more about the Beatles and listened to more and more of their records.Now my CD-collection has grown to include about 40 CD's from the Beatles and their solo careers and I'm still collecting!Their music is simply the BEST!!! Thoughts: I was a Beatle baby. My dad is a huge Beatles fan and I always used to listen to "A Hard Day's Night" and "Sgt. Pepper". After a while, I was rebelling against my parents and stopped listening to them. But when I was thirteen one of my friends came to school one day singing "Help!" and I started singing with her. She said that her parents had just gotten her into the Beatles and I started liking them again. They are the greatest thing, and I will never leave them again.

Thoughts: A lot of my friends liked them. We would always listen to them when we were hanging out. I heard them for the first time at a music store. I have loved them ever since. It was the Blue Album that I heard. "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" and "A Day In The Life" hit me very hard and now they are some of my favorite songs.

Thoughts: Ummm.... I actually just got into it my self I was about five when I had a crush on Julian, and then at nine I liked John. Then it kind of died off. At eleven I got back into them. I started with liking Paul. But once I saw "Let It Be" about 94 ish I changed to George, and have liked him ever since. I feel it's good thing that I changed to George cause I got my boyfriend out of it so there you go.

Thoughts: I dunno, I grew up listening to the Beatles, and I guess that I started to really like them a lot when I began high school. I love many of the 60's rock tunes, and especially the psycedelic sound. I can't remember the first song that I heard from them, but I guess that the song "Come Together" was the wake-up point song that brought it all around for me.

My dad used to sing "Yellow Submarine" all the time when I was younger, so I grew up liking that song before I even knew what it was. Now my favorite song is "Hey Jude".

It was the best song I had ever heard and then I heard "Lucy in the Sky". I loved them from there on and they are still my favorite group and I am at the age of 14 and it is 1999.

I started listening to the Beatles myself when I was about 11 (1991) when I found my Mom's dusty copy of "Abbey Road". There was some thing about listening to them on record that hooked me. I immediately took up guitar and learned to play "Maxwell's Silver Hammer".
