The Revenue from the Wind Farm increased from Rs. 62 Lakhs in 95-96 to Rs. 383 lakhs during the year under review. Generation from the Wind Farm would have been higher but for grid disruptions particularly during the first half of the financial year. With the increase in power tariff in Tamil Nadu, effective 15.2.97, the earnings of the division will further increase during the next financial year.
