Welcome to the Chicago Milwaukee Chapter

The Chicago-Milwaukee Chapter is a chapter of the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club, Inc., a non-profit organization, dedicated to preserving and enjoying the great cars built by Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit Michigan, and the Hudson cars built by American Motors from 1955 to 1957. To be a chapter member you must first be a member of the National HET club. Chapter dues are $15.00 annually and payable in January. Send your dues to the treasurer of the Chapter.

Currently: Doug Novak 324 Illinois Street, Glen Ellyn, IL. 60137 PH# (630)545-1611 EMAIL:harmonyfoods@ameritech.net

Both National and chapter dues may be paid to the Chapter treasurer. A membership application is provided through a link at the right hand side of the screen.

We accept all Hudson cars from 1909 to 1957 and belive in DRIVING and ENJOYING our cars. HET is a family oriented club and accept all ages of Hudson enthusiasts. Ownership of a Hudson car is not a requirement for membership, some people to treat HET as a social club for others with a common interest. HET is recognized as THE most friendly car club one can join. We don't judge each others cars or give out trophies. Our award winning national publication the "White Triangle News" has won a golden quill award for outstanding publication. The WTN is alone is worth the price of membership even if you only have a slight Hudson interest.

WEB MASTER'S NOTE: To keep this site interesting I will occasionally add articles to this site. Please check back from time to time to check them out. Please note that this website is NOT the same as the Chapter Newsletter. I felt that it wouldn't be fair to put out the newsletter online for free since CHI/MIL members pay dues to our chapter. Though it is true our chapter runs other services, 90% of what member dues pay for is the Newsletter. If you like what you see on this website, please consider joining us and get your copy of the HUD-NUT NEWS for a full year at only $15. You spend that much on a pizza and a few movie rentals anyway but the difference is that we're here for you Hudson enthusiasts the WHOLE YEAR!

What's UP !(Editorial)

greetings Hudnuts, What's new? The Chicago Milwaukee Chapter now has a new chapter website and it can be found at this address: http://cmhetclub.com/default.aspx

Now this site will no longer be the official chapter website however I will keep it operating for my own take on the Hudson hobby it'll just won't be the chapter's site anymore. Cool?!

The July 2009 National was a big deal. It is the 100 year anniversary of the Hudson Motor Car Company and the 50th Anniversary of the HET Club. It was held in Pontiac MI. There were 400 cars in attendance and if you missed it you missed a great party with lost of rare cars from 1909 - 1957. People from all over the world were on hand for this once in century event! If you want to see some pictures of it you can do so at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-hF0C6065k

Protecting our hobby: COVA/CVAG

Dear Motorist:

The Council of Vehicle Associations / Classic Vehicle Advocate Group, was formed by enthusiasts on July 4, 1998 and is devoted to protecting the interests of individuals, companies, and organizations involved in the well maintained antique, classic, modified, modern day, and collectible vehicle industry.

Whether the collectible or modern vehicle of your choice is an automobile, a motorcycle, a light truck, a military vehicle, or a locomotive; whether it runs on four wheels, two wheels, fat tires, or 16 big iron wheels, be it built in the early 1900's or the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's or sometime in between, and has been restored, modified, or will be in the future; we are all facing the demise of our hobby (or in some cases livelihood) unless we can gain the ear of those who write legislation.

We will only gain their ear with a coordinated national effort, supported by all of those who stand to lose the use of their collectible or every day driving vehicles.

Please consider the compelling reasons for a national effort that crosses the lines of make, model, year, and join our national nonprofit organization COVA/CVAG. Invest in the future of our freedoms and our vehicle rights.
