Hi,
We have just finished production on a brand new instructional cd rom on baseball. The
product is totally unique and very, very complete. Here are a couple of the local
reviews:
"I’ve found your cd rom to be complete and excellent in all areas. It is a resource so
valuable that I’m confident we will refer to it repeatedly to help us in our instruction.”
Mike Gillespie - USC Baseball/
1998’ College World Series Champions.
"First Round pick is perfect for that young player wanting to learn about the game. If I
had a son he would definitely have one."
Gary Adams - Head Baseball Coach
UCLA / College World Series 1997
" The most comprehensive and well-integrated instructional tool of its' kind."
" Informative, entertaining, and very very accurate."
" No book or video could grab the player's interest or demonstrate the drills as well."
Dave Destler - Publisher/ Editor
Junior League Baseball Magazine
“ I think it would benefit any youngster interested in learning or reviewing the basic Skills, Baseball Drills and Situations”.
David Wells - Pitcher
New York Yankees
" The cd is a fabulous tool for players and coaches at all levels... I wish such a tool was
available when I was a young baseball player."
George - Head Baseball Coach
Cal State Fullerton / 1995' College World Series Champions
I would like to get together and discuss how we might be able to make the cd availible to
your players and do some good for your league at the same time.
I can send you more info if you are interested. I am based in the San Fernando Valley

Team Hotline! is a networked voice mail system revolutionizing communication for youth
organizations by giving coaches & group leaders voice mailboxes to update children and parents with weekly information: practice/meeting times, game schedules, field conditions, tournaments, field trips, pictures, uniforms, special events, fundraisers, deadlines, motivational tips - any and all information involved with organized youth programs.
With just one phone call:
Team Hotline! coordinators can reach every coach/group leader or all of the children and their parents with a group broadcast.
Coaches/group leaders can communicate with every member of the team and their families more effectively.
Children and their families can get this information seven days a week, 24 hours a day, no matter where they are. They also have the option to leave a message.
Call (800) 927-7345 or check out www.teamhotline.net!
Would your organization or your team/group like to register or re-register to use Team Hotline!? Do you think we could get a link for our web-site on your web-site? Organizations can now register and re-register every year at our web-site (www.teamhotline.net) and get copies of their organizations directory, user instructions and user tips.
Please let me know if this is something you are interested in.

Dear Coaches and Fundraisers,
I have a training aid that I think you might be interested in. I have major league scouts; College, University and former pro players who have training facilities endorse it. It is called Perfect Stride. It retails for $19.95 but if your looking for fundraising for the kids I sell them wholesale for $12.95 and you can stock some in the concession stand for other kids visiting from out of town. This is a fantastic opportunity for both baseball and softball players to not only receive one of the top training aid to come out in over 20 years, but utilize it as a fundraiser. The retail price is $19.95, but you can sell them for whatever mark up you need. Instead of having the kids going all over the neighborhood pushing products to strangers. They go to the parents and friends, and the equipment goes to the players, and the profit goes to the league. Over 90% of players today do not have strong fundamental swings. They ether overstride or step out on pitches. With Perfect Stride, these are eliminated. You can view Perfect Stride at http://www.perfectstride.com/ I have it coming out in numerous baseball/softball catalogs and will find it in the future in sporting goods stores across the U.S. Good luck to you this year.

Hello. My name is Jack Burns, and I am a long time baseball parent, coach,
and board member. Please take a minute and look at www.polepitcher.com.
Coaches love the extra hitting each player gets at practice, kids like them because
they're just fun to play with, and parents buy them to help their kids. Pitch it slow,
or as fast as an actual PITCHING MACHINE - WITH A CURVE!! And, NO
CHASING BALLS!! This is a great, easy fundraiser. Good luck this season....
Thank you.

It's great to see a page on West Pony League! I played for Trauffers Home Builders in 1979 and 1980 and was a member of the 1980 all-star team that took 4th place in the Pony League World series. Although I've been removed from Davenport for nearly 20 years (I currently reside in Delaware), I still have fond memories of my youth playing baseball in Iowa! Good luck, West Pony League! Hope to see you in another World Series soon!Steve De Barr
sdebarr@dca.net
P.S. Just revisited the home page and noticed that a "Hall of Fame" has been started for West Pony League. Not to have a biased opinion, but how about inducting the 1980 Trauffers Home Builders Team that went 29-1 on the season, only losing one regular season game and going on to be City champs?! Just a suggestion! Does anyone know of a team in West Pony League history to have gone totally undefeated? If so I'd like to know, and they should be considered for Hall of Fame induction as well. Thanks for the consideration!Steve De Barr

IT IS MY HOPE THAT YOU WILL FORWARD THE BELOW E-MAIL MESSAGE TO THE COACHES/ MANAGERS/ AND PARENTS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXTRA EFFORT. Mike Keller
Dear Baseball Coach/ Manager/ Parents:
I just returned from Havana, Cuba with four baseball teams who competed against Cuba's best athletes. During this time, I had conversation with the Cuban baseball officials regarding their interest in inviting youth (9-19) age group teams to compete in Havana. Since your team history indicates a balanced program, it is my pleasure to present you the above offer. The Cuban's are open to the time of year that best fits your schedule; before or after the season.
My company, TranSports Athletic Inc., has the only license issued by the U.S. Treasury Department which enables us to take Americans to Cuba for athletic/educational exchanges. We are able to organize your air flight, competition in Cuba, hotel/meals, and all ground transportation along with daily trips around Havana. The cost for your trips cost team members under $1895 each. We are allowed to take parents, friends, boosters, and other interested travelers at less than $1995 each. Duration and the origin of the destination are factors that need to be determined.
I suggest that you take a look at our web site and then if you are interested, I urge you to call me at 208-892-8922. At that time, we can discuss the financial opportunities that we have that would allow you to reduce the team members costs, through recruiting accompanying people. The web site can be found at www.gotransports.com.
I look forward to hearing from you.

A fundraising idea for pony league teams.
Good day,
I live in Stevenson Ranch (Valencia,CA). I have a fundraising idea I'd like to discuss with you. It makes bake sales, pancake breakfasts, car washes and candy bar sales unnecessary. People love it because it allows a family of 4 to save between $500 to $1000 off of their food bill at the supermarket. The result is that it gives your group $1000 in about two weeks. Can you please ask the chairman of your group's annual fundraising events to please call me. Just ask for Michael.

Quote "I am from Redlands, Ca. How does your league select All Star Managers/Players?
Dave Eason
http://www.rby.org
deason@discover.net"
Hey Dave...hopefully better than Redlands Baseball for Youth picks & trains their regular Managers. Parents & kids on our team are very unhappy with the self serving group of tightie- whitey sportin' hosers setting our roster. Their kids are in every inning and bat first while the rest of the kids get benched 2 & 3 innings EVERY GAME. We have spoken to the coach, but still no change. The favoritism is so bad (and obvious to everyone) we are considering getting the 'second string' kids to all boycott one game to see how they do with just 6-7 players. It's that bad.
RBY is doing the exact opposite here of what they should: teach fainess & honor and set a good example. Instead it is all political, favoritism and the kids/parents who bitch the most are rewarded with play time. This is supposed to be an open league!! Please establish or enforce some equal play time rules. No kids should be made to feel this way by sitting them out more than one inning until ALL of the roster has been rotated out.
Congratulations. What was supposed to excite my kid about the great American Pastime has now made him think that Baseball SUCKS.
(Sorry I feel the need to air our dirty secrets on your website bro, but its better than the rby one)

Dear Friend,
It is my wish to bring this golden opportunity to your door step.irrespective of the fact that you do not know me.I am pleased to get across to you for a very urgent and profitable business proposal, though I don't know you neither have I seen you before but my confidence was reposed on you when the Accountant of the Federal Republic of Nigeria handed me your contact for a confidential business
I am a person of Mr .Maurice Schwarz a clerk to a director incharge of auditing and accounting section of Manny Bank Plc.I came across a very huge sum of money belonging to Mr.Mr.Brown a citizen of your country,Who used to work with an oil company. On the 11th of September 2001, Mr.Brown died in a bomb blast explosion in America together with his wife and 3 kids,(The terrorist attack at the pentagon)
Since then I have made several enquiries to your embassies to locate any of our late customer extended relatives this has also proved unsuccessful. After these several unsuccessful attempts,Idecided to trace her last name over the Internet, to locate any member of her family.
I have contacted you to assist in repatriating the money left in his account before it get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the bank.
The deceased had an account valued at about FIFTEEN MILLION ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND US dollars(US$15.1m)Since I have been unsuccessfully in locating the relatives for over two years now, I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you bear the same last name so that the proceeds of this account valued at FIFTEEN Million ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND US dollars(US$15.1m)can be paid to you and then you and me can share the money. 60% to me and 35% to you, While 5% will be set aside to settle all expenses incurred during processing of this transaction.
Note that the above sum is questioned is not connected with Arm;s,Drugs, or money laudering.
