Ian Mathieu: Vocals & Rhythm Guitar

Ian began playing at the age of nine when his dad, also a musician, bought him his first guitar for his birthday. Ian played with a few different bands in high school and at the end of his senior year put out his debut CD. The disc, entitled "Talk to Strangers," received excellent reviews and features a brigade of talented support including former Pure Prairie League member Larry Goshorn who produces, sings, and plays guitar. Ian used the exposure to launch his solo acoustic career. After 3 years of focusing on his solo efforts while juggling electric bands on the side, Ian decided to go the acoustic route. After almost giving up the search for a duo partner, Brad came into the picture and the duo realized they had an instant chemistry.

Brad Kelly: Vocals & Lead Guitar

Brad was 12 years old when he first began teaching himself how to play the guitar and sing. He launched his professional music career while still in high school. Brad embarked on his acoustic endeavor in 1990 with a duo named "Don Coyote." This duo progressively grew into a full band and played through '93. After a yearlong hiatus, Brad teamed up with another partner by the name of Chip Higgins. The Nematones, as they preferred to be called, had an amazingly busy 4-year run wowing audience members with their well-crafted original material and surprising them with some obscure classics. Ian Mathieu & Brad Kelly began this duo at the beginning of 1998 and have been turning heads with their beautifully powerful harmonies ever since.
