Rival Schools is a very cool game. I normally don't get impressed by fighting games, but this is more than just a fighting game. I know you hear that a lot, but it's true. I have so far only played the japanese version, but I plan to buy the domestic release when I get my next paycheck.
Anyway, this is more than a fighting game because of the extra little things that it comes with. On the second disk, the only one I play, is where all the cool stuff is. There are four cool mini games involving Shoma, Roberto, and Natsu. They come from Gorin High School, the sports one.
Another cool thing, my favorite actually, is the ability to make your own character. I sincerely hope that this is in the american version of this game, or I am not responsible for my actions. Even though I don't read japanese (at that time) I still made a character. My first one's name was Shinji, and he was a nerd. He had one special move, and not all his energy. Then I had to leave for college, so I didn't get to work more on him. You can also use your character in the normal game.
