The Animals Celebrate Thanksgiving!

It was soon to be Thanksgiving once again. The leaves had left the trees and were blowing about the forest on the wind. The acorns had fallen from the oak trees and most had been gathered for the long winter ahead by the animals.

Those cute, cuddly little animals were ready for winter and ready to celebrate their Thanksgiving. They had gathered the crops in just as the humans had.

They had pumpkins, corn, squash, and apples along with all sorts of grains and nuts.

They gathered together, just as their human counterparts and sat together to eat their feast.

Some of the animals even dressed in costumes in honor of the first Thanksgiving their ancestors had witnessed.

Mayor bear welcomed everyone to the feast.

The animals even had a contest to see who had the nicest cornucopia.

But they ate everything before they judged the contest.

Soon the ground would be covered with snow and they would all stay in their homes for the winter.
