International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC)

November 01, 2006 Vienna, Austria: At its founding Congress, the ITUC has been officially created. It is the off-spring of the unification of the former International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the World Confederation of Labour. Also, eight other labor bodies that were not previously involved on the international level are now affiliated with the ITUC and they include trade union centers from Nepal, Poland, Argentina, Colombia, and France
