First series of Moldavian cards was issued in 1994 by firm MOLDTELECOM. Series contain 4 cards - 50 units (10000 pieces), 75 units (10000 pieces), 100 units (5000 pieces) and 200 units (5000 pieces). |

Second MOLDTELECOM series was issued in 1995. Series contain 4 cards. Front sides and costs of these cards are same as the first series cards, but they have different pictures on back side. |

Third MOLDTELECOM series was issued in 1997. Series contain 4 cards. The cards of this series are same as the second series, but they difference with date and place of the serial number on front side. |

Fourth MOLDTELECOM series was issued in 1998. Series contain 4 cards. The cards of this series are same as the first series, but they difference with date of issue. The serial numbers of these cards are placed on a back side. |

In a 1997 a test card was made. It was used for check of serviceability of installed new card payphones. The indicated face value of this card is 75 units, but its actual nominal value - 750 units. Circulation of cards - 10 copies. These cards are very rare. |

| In July 1998 first phonecards series was issued in Tiraspol, capital of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Series was issued by firm TELECOM OF TIRASPOL and is made at the Odessa phonecards factory (Ukraine). Series contain 3 cards - 30 min.(500 copies), 60 min.(1000 copies) and 120 min.(500 copies). These cards are used for calls in limits Tiraspol only. |
