The contest was a success for several reasons: It generated a greater interest in vision among school-aged children in our local community, it has given RHOS a more visible presence, and it gave the winning children a chance to spotlight their talents and abilities and gain recognition for a job well done. I believe this year's contest turned out exceptionally well and has given us a fondation on which to build for the 1999 year.
