THEOLOGY 101

Yes it was inevitable that with my strong religious faith I would publish some thoughts on religion and dare I say it "GOD".


To many times I have heard, even from "religious leaders" that GOD created "MAN" in his image, true line I will not disagree, but take it to the next step. GOD is in the bible a SPIRIT not a human not a "MAN" a SPIRIT, HE also created the earth, animals and so on, later subject material, for now let's just look at man ok?


So GOD created what we call Adam, easy enough or is it? , Adam was a man yet in the likeness of GOD, hmm, a man and spirit, yep! , The spirit is in GODS image  not the man, oh ouch I think I just offended Archie Bunker, there is more to it than just the shell GOD made to carry his image.





Next big offence "woman"was made from Adam, affectionately known as Eve, sweet girl, any way I'm wondering, when GOD made eve HE actually made 2 yes 2 Adams, more to say that we now have two halves and together they equal a whole, I will not touch procreation now no matter what, let's just make it easy here, what if you made a bridge with just supports and nothing else, no way it will work right, now we add  foundation and there you have it a wonderful dry form of transportation, Adam & Eve get it, but there is more so hold on.





Now we have the two, male and female, but is it just the shell we are looking at? So far in our religious realm it has been but again go to the next level, the spirit! GOD made it so there should be 2 to = 1 that is typically the case, and here we go again Archie. The two I refer to is spirit not male or female, SPIRIT. How can with that in mind anyone make a statement about gender, sex, race, creed, social status, and all the other phony stereo types that we as silly humans place on a daily basis matter? WE are all in GODS image you know SPIRIT or as theologian's say soul, guess I got their attention to, really hope it makes them think.





JESUS, thank GOD for him, had a wonderful slogan that I still use to this day and forever "love your neighbor as yourself". After all they really are you and you them, think SPIRIT again, I just love it when someone tells me "MAN" was created in GOD's image when in reality all HUMAN's where, slightly ignoring the other half.


Oh my have,  I offended everyone? I certainly hope not, honest, I just wish all people to think beyond what they see in the mirror or a false perception from general society.		 


We as people are far more than just skin or a reflection in a window, we are deeper than that and much more complex.
