Jan's beaded creations are all hand-crafted of stone and glass.  Each piece is crafted unique and origional. The bead stones are sewn on individually with Nymo beading threads attached onto craft weight pellon fabric, and then finished off with leather, ultra-suede,or velour backings. Furthermore, Jan uses no planning or sketching in advance.  As she achieves her own sence of a style and pattern with what, one would call free-form embroidering.   Additionally, Jan incorporates all types and size of beads and stones to obtain many unique textures in her art pieces.  With Jan's attention to detail, and beading techniques, she produces heirloom quality work destind to be passed down from generations to come.
