Who is Eddie Zosky, anyway?

Zosky was a top prospect for a number of years with the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He was considered the "next big thing" for the Blue Jays. He was pencilled in as the Jays' "shortstop of the future". An arm injury in 1993, coupled with poor offensive production resulted in his fading into the background and Alex Gonzalez stealing his title. He was traded to the Marlins in the offseason after 1994. Since then he has wandered between the Marlins, Orioles, Giants, Brewers and Cardinals farm systems.

He was an outstanding player in his schooling years, and has been a sure-handed defensive wizard throughout his career. He was part of the All-America teams selected by The Sporting News and Baseball America.

He married Shelley Snylander in February of 1991, his first son, Levi, was born Nov. 9, 1996.
