If the FEV1 has increased by at least 200 ml. AND by at least 12% the response to bronchodilator is significant.

The same increase in FEV3 or FEV6 would also be considered to be a significant response.

Lack of a significant response to a single dose of a bronchodilator does not preclude response to chronic therapy.
