I think "Bad Timing" is one of, if not the best of Jim's ballads. The sadness in his voice is enough to make you cry. Bad Timing has everything that makes a love song: the break-up, remorse and possible forgiveness. This was the song that hooked me onto Blue Rodeo. Although the first few times I heard it I thought that he was saying "That time and that song" instead of "Bad timing that's all"
