Phone Call for the Rabbi

A congregant calls his synagogue office, the receptionist answers the phone, and he says "Can I talk to the Rabbi?"

She says "I am sorry but the Rabbi no longer works at this synagogue!"

He says, "Oh! I am sorry, I didn't know" and hangs up.

Next day he calls again, "Can I talk to the Rabbi?"

The receptionist tells him "Didn't I speak with you yesterday, the Rabbi no longer works at this synagogue".

He again says "oh, ok" and hangs up.

This goes on for another week and he calls again and asks to speak with the Rabbi. She Responds "Look didn't I tell you yesterday and the day before, the Rabbi no longer works here, what part of it don't you understand?"

He says "I know, I just like hearing it"...
