Realizing Judaism
Buddy Hackett told of the time he had moved to a suburb and was beseiged
with suggestions that he join the local temple.
"Why?" he demanded.
"So that your children will realize they're Jewish."
"But they already realize they're Jewish," said Buddy. "They have
heartburn."
