CHURCH OF ASTRAL KNOWLEDGE

THE CRUSADER'S of Christian Astrologers carries a two edge sword. First and foremost we are Christians and as such we may go to the Church of our choice and set at the Lord's table and participate in the Holy Communion. Nevertheless, with prayer and belief in Christ we may have a communion with our God the Holy Spirit in our own homes. In this participation we are ONE and the same person in Christ. All have sinned and must be cleansed with our faith that Christ died for us and stands before God to intercede that we may have a relationship with our God. God created our body and mind through evolution , Gen 1: 24 "And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living CREATURE after his kind, cattle, and creeping things and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so." and another biblical verification of our evolved state is noted when Adam disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, Gen 3: 19; "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

Now we should understand that while God evolved man, He made our soul and spirit by decree. Gen. 1: 26, 27 "And God said, Let us MAKE man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

The body and mind are separable from the soul and spirit, and is susceptible to death. Nevertheless, it is an integral part of our spiritual being. It is the seat of the senses, the means by which the soul and spirit have world-consciousness. It is the fallen Adamic nature. The Apostle Paul takes note of the two natures of our being in Roman 7: 22 - 25 "For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am who shall deliver me from the body (and mind) of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with my consciousness,(soul and spirit) I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh (body and mind) the law of sin."

We may also notice in reading the four gospels how each describes one of the four parts of man; the body, the mind, the soul and the spirit. See shield above.

The first Gospel by St. Matthew starts with the book of the generation of Jesus Christ beginning with, the son of David, the son of Abraham, and ending with "And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ." Matt 1: 16. We may think of Matthew as the gospel that professes the linage, the seed, of the physical body of Christ. After Matthew enumerates all the generations by name he then claims: Mat 1: 18 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit." This was to fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah 7: 14 "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Meaning God with us) For some it seems a difficult task to reconcile the idea that Jesus is of the seed of Abraham as promised by Almighty God; Gen 17: 1 that Christ would be of Abraham's seed; Gen 17: 7 - "And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generation for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and thy seed after thee." So, how could this come about? The only way to reconcile both prophesies seems to be that the Holy Spirit impregnated an ovary of Mary, in the first place, and soon after she married Joseph who them impregnated her with his sperm to complete the pregnancy so that it could go forward. The result was Jesus Christ as promised "God with us" in the flesh. This is offered for those who have a problem with the immaculate conception. Matthew tells the story of the Magi and how Joseph took the boy to Egypt. Christ recognized that He was born of a man. Matt: 17, 22, "And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men."

The second Gospel by St. Mark seeks to portray Christ as the servant of God. It is a man's mind obeying the will of God. He was baptized by John the baptist who said to the people: Mark 1: 8, "I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit." Mark 1: 12, 13, 14 After being baptized by John, Christ was driven into the wilderness where his mind was tempted by Satan (his selfish instincts). As a body and mind he overcame the temptations place upon him by his creature mind. "Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God." That God, through Christ's sacrefice to be, forgives man his sins. Henceforth, we live by the grace of God under Christ and not the fear of God under Moses. Christ then went about gathering the twelve disciples and preached in all the towns of Galilee. Mark 3: 13, "And he ordained twelve that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach." The forgiveness of mankinds sins through the sacrefice of Christ

The third gospel, St. Luke, weaves a story of how Mary was called upon to give birth to the Son of God through the Holy Spirit. Thus producing the soul of God, once again in man - His gospel is that of the human-divine One, as John is of the divine-human One. Luke 3:23, traces the genealogy of Christ back to Adam, through Jesus' mother Mary. Luke begins saying Jesus was "the son of Joseph which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi. However, since Matthew claimed that Joseph was the son of Jacob we must assume that Levi was the father of Mary, therefore Levi was Joseph' father-in-law. So the genealogy is that of Mary which is traced back to God. Luke then ends with -- Luke 3: 38 "Which was the son of Enos which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." Adam whose soul and spirit God required because of his disobedience. Gen 3: 19 "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken; for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Thus the bible verifies that man was evolved, body and mind, in the first place; Gen 1: 24, and then the breath of spiritual life was breathed into him, Gen 1: 26-27. However, by being disobedient this soul and spirit was taken from him until the advent of Christ. Man through Christ become a living soul and spirit again as he was made in the beginning, male and female, in the form of Adam and Eve. They were created, body and mind, and then made in the image of God, with a soul and spirit. Thus, the prophecies stated in Matthew are satified in Mary's genealogy. consequently preserving the immaculate conception for those believers.

The final Gospel St. John characterize the spirit of mankind after Christ. The forth gospel was written by the Apostle John. His gospel is of the divine-human One. John 5: 25, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live." John 14: 11, "Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake". John 14: 26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 17: 1, "Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee." thus, Christ recognized Himself as the Son of God in John's gospel.

As Christian we are as ONE in the HOLY SPIRIT.
