Survival of the fittest in pre-history produced creatures that eventually
evolved into the animals we call "human beings." However, they were
wanting in one important behavior. They did not have what we call a
Conscience. Meaning those animals did not have morals, ethics or
principles, which give present day human beings a standard for living
together in harmony with consideration for one another. I mean individuals
with self-esteem having a connection with the creative force that give our
life meaning. I am speaking of our love of God. It is this creative force that
sustains our world for which we must have respect in order to gain our
natural state of evolvement according to the will of God..
The evolutionary voyage through all the various years that has taken
place over the many developing stages of life has left its mark on our
psyche. As a result we have an aggressive drive and off times violent
uncompromising impulse for survival that is in conflict with our higher
purpose and ambition in life, which we may witness in the bible story of the
slaying of Able by Cain, the sons of Adam and Eve. Even today we see the
releasing of this darker side of the organism we inherited from our animal
heritage, which is what sells newspapers. It is this part of our nature that
entices reporters to seek out these crimes because the readers buy this kind
of perception over more pleasant human endeavors..
Following the transformation of the animal into the human consciousness
we exhibit today, the animal nature has tenaciously remained. It is
unyieldingly rooted in our ancient psyche. For you, this means that you are
at the mercy of innumerable biological appetites and drives you must learn
to control. It is up to you to transform this corrupt nature you inherited in
such a way as to enable you to harmonize with it and grow beyond its
limitations by gaining more control over its corrupt appetites by giving
yourself a definite chief aim and a direction on the positive side of life.
To begin this metamorphosis you must learn all you can about the
physical and psyche being you acquired at birth. In order to tame and
control the nature you inherited you must learn its potentials. This
knowledge is reveal to you in your horoscope. You must concentrate on
who you are centering yourself within your own primary essence, the I am
of your being. From this position you may observe yourself and learn about
the body you dwell in. The horoscope is one of your main tools. With it
you learn to know the person God intended you to be, but first you should
confess your allegiance to your Creator who will help you read your
horoscope, to know yourself through the power of the Holy Spirit. Down
through the ages philosophers have always claimed that the first law of life
is to "Know thyself" I'm sure Jesus Christ knew who he was for he said in
the book of Rev. Chapter 22: 16, "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify
unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of
David, and the bright and morning star." It is interesting to learn that Christ
claimed to be "the bright and morning star" for that star happens
to be Venus, represented by the Romans as the goddess of love. In the
horoscope it represents your soul, that is your emotions, which is your
reactions to your environment. It has been said in other writings that
Christ could cast and read a horoscope! I feel sure He could because he spent
10 years in Egypt where astrology was dicovered and flourished.
Some people claim that in the bible Isaiah speaks against the practice of
astrology, however, Isaiah did not condemn astrologers, rather he was
speaking of the Lords judgment against the people of Babylon because of their wickedness.
Isaiah 47: 1, "Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of
Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the
Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate." Isaiah
goes on to admonish the people of Babylon; Isaiah 47: 10, "For thou
hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy
wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in
thine heart, " I Am " and none else beside me." Isaiah was
condemning the people of Babylon for being atheist, nonbelievers in
God, not because they consulted astrologers. He goes on to say: Isaiah 47: 13,
"Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsel. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the
monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that
shall come upon thee." Actually Isaiah claims in 47: 10, that the
astrologers had wisdom and knowledge, but that their wisdom and knowledge would not
save the wicked people from the wrath and vengeance of the God of Israel,
which was brought upon them because of their wickedness and idol worshiping, and
turning their back on God their creator, not because they used the council of Astrologers.
Astrologers are mentioned again in the bible in the book of Daniel.
Daniel along with Ezekiel were Jewish captives in Babylon who worked
in the palace. Ezekiel, Chapter 1; Tells of his vision of the four living
creatures, the one with a Face of a Man, another with the Face of a Lion,
another with the Face of an Ox and the forth with the Face of an Eagle; these
are the four fixed signs of the zodiac. Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Scorpio.
The Chaldeans used the Eagle to symbolize Scorpio, while the Egyptian used
the Scorpion. Today, we use the symbol of the Scorpion for the sign Scorpio. It
is said by Jewish scholars that most all the Prophets used Astrology to gain their
foreknowledge, as led by the Holy Spirit. Also see more of same vision in Rev. 4:7.
In Daniel Chapter 2: 1 - 5 It seems that in the second year of the reign
of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, and he woke up
from his sleep and demanded that the magicians, and the astrologers,
and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, who were called in by the king, to interpret
his dreams. He said if you do not tell me the meaning of my dream you will
all be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. The wise
men answered the king that no ruler asks such things of their magicians, or
astrologers, or Chaldeans. The king became furious and commanded to
destroy all the wise men of Babylon.
Daniel consulted with Arioch, the Captain of the kings guard, who was
going forth to slay the wise men of Babylon. Daniel ask the Captain for an audience with the king.
Daniel pleaded with the king to give him a little time and he would shew the king the interpretation.
of the kings dreams. Daniel along with Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, his companions: prayed
to God to show them the secret of the dream so that he and his fellows should
not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. The secret of the dream
was revealed to Daniel in a night vision, which he then reveal to the king.
The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a
God of gods, and Lord of kings, and revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest
reveal this secret. Since Daniel consulted with his three friends, I imagine they used astrology
to gain the information Daniel used in his interpretation, as guided by the Holy Spirit.
When I read a chart I, too, get a vision of the psyche of the person for whom I am reading.
See, Daniel Chapter, 2: 36 to 48 - for the interpretation of the kings dream.
No one can control your being unless you give that person control over
your psyche. No one can force you to do something you do not want to do
or intend for them to do for you. Not even God. God the Father tried to
persuade His people with promises of reward for their sacrifice of various
things to no avail. Their wicked nature turned their back on Him every
time, as witnessed by the prophets of old. Through Moses God gave His
people the Laws promising if they followed His rules they would reap
rewards. But alas, they again failed to conform to His Laws and judgements.
Finally He sent His Son to show mankind the way to overcome their sinful,
vile, evil behavior. However, his people crucified Him. Christ' disciple
Paul, the apostle, who witnessed the resurrection of Christ, tells of Christ'
gift to mankind, through the Father, the Holy Spirit. Paul's gospel of Christ
created the seven Churches, as revealed in Rev. Chapter 2:- by his persistent
missionary work. To this day his evangelistic effort remains a testament to
the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the gift of God the Holy Spirit,
through the Father, Christ gave us, who will guide us into a happy life, if we let Him. . Rev. 3: 20,
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open
the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Even that great mind, Sir Isaac Newton, A.D. 1642 to 1727, was an astrologer as
were many others who astronomers today claim as their benefactors.
Newton claimed that the correspondence alledged by the ancient physicians
to exist between the position of the Moon and the stages of various diseases,
is so far from being rejected by the modern faculty, that it has been openly
maintained. In Europe, and in every part of the world where learning had
"impress'd the human soil," Astrology reign supreme until the middle
of the 17th century. It entered into the councils of princes, it guided the
policy of nations, and ruled the daily actions of individuals. All this is
attested by the records of every nation which has a history.

God did not leave us without knowledge of ourselves. Through the
years after Christ and no doubt through the Holy Spirit man has learned to
know who he is and how to cope with himself. The Egyptian priest had
developed this knowledge for the purpose of finding people who would
serve the ruling Pharaoh of Egypt. For instance, it takes a particular type of
person to be able to stand and fan the Pharaoh all day and not become bored
with his job. Likewise, some people are adapt at writing or in laboring in
all kinds of work required to run the country. For that matter, it required a
particular dedicated man to be a priest and administer to the people who
worship the Pharaoh, whom his subjects regarded as god. Their knowledge
of astrology has been handed down to us through generations of astrologers.
One of the chief gatherers of this knowledge was Claudius Ptolemy, A.D.
93 to 171, he was a mathematician, astrologer, and geographer, at
Alexandria, Egypt. He gave us the rules for setting up the planetary
positions at the time and place of our birth and what the planets and their
positions mean to us. Ptolemy's astrology work was told to Pope Sixtus
by George Trapezuntius who described Ptolemy as "with a truly regal mind,"
who applied himself to the sciences, because the sceptre of the Ptolemies
had previously passed into the hands of Cleopatra, and because the kingdom
of Egypt had been since reduced to the state of a Roman province.
