George became a member of the team in the summer of 2002 after moving from LaPorte County into the Town of Kouts. He Completed his N.F.P.A. Investigator I training in the summer of 2003.
George is currently employed by a construction company in LaPorte, where he serves as a computer expert. George remained an active member of the LaPorte County Hazardous Materials Team after moving.
Brad joined FIST in December of 2008 after years of "begging" from other members of the team. Brad began his fire service career in Terre Haute at the age of 16, answering calls alongside his father. The Indiana Volunteer Firefighter's Association honors the memory of the senior Sandberg by presenting an award at its annual state convention.
Brad went to work for the Office of the Indiana State Fire Marshall where for the next 18 years he served as an investigator assigned to Northwest Indiana. During this time he served as a volunteer fighter with Keener Township in Jasper County. Brad left the Marshall's office and for two years worked as an investigator for a private company before taking a job in the safety department of a local trucking firm. In January 2008 Brad came out of "retirement" to take the position of Deputy Chief of the South Haven Fire Department.
Brad is currently employed as an EMT with Prompt Ambulance Service and lives in the City of Portage with his girlfriend Joyce.
Matt became a member of the team after completing his NFPA Fire Investigator program in 2007.
Matt holds the position of Lieutenant in the Morgan Township Fire Department is a an Indiana Certified EMS Primary Instructor.
Mike became a member of the team in January 2004, and at the time he was a member of the Lake Eliza Department. In July 2004 the Lake Eliza department merged with the Boone Grove Fire Department to become the Porter Township Fire Department. Mike completed his Investigator I training in the summer of 2005, but due to personal matters he had to resign from the Boone Grove department. On May 3, 2006 Mike was accepted as a member of the South Haven Fire Department
