SAISON
SO IN LOVE

"So in Love" by former Artstart Band vocalist Ella May Saison is probably the most talked about album of 1997. Produced by Kat's Eye Entertainment, " So In Love" is the first album by a Filipina artist to send two back to back singles to the U.S. Billboard R & B charts.

The two hit singles are " So In Love" and "Never Had a Chance" which made a debut on number 90 and number 88 respectively. Ella co-wrote four of the cuts "Got Lovin' For YOu", "Waiting Here For YOu", "I Have a Heart" and "Read My Mind". The song "Got Lovin' For You" was featured in an HBO movie about the life of American baseball legend Joe Torre of the Nwe York Mets. "Never Had A Chance" was also used in three weekly segements of a TV series shot in LA called L.A. FAME which is a spin off of the movie FAME. Latest info from the States has it that the video stands at Number 11 of the Urban Dance chart and playing three times a day on cable.

Kat's Eye gathered only the best talents on this album. Aside from songwriters J.Jordan Cline and R. Hammond, other people on the album are Jerry Brown, sound engineer for Babyface and Vanessa Williams. Umberto Gattica, Grammy winner for Celine Dion's latest album did several songs on this CD.

To shoot the videos for the singles "So In Love" and "I Believe" is Cameron Casey, director of several videos for Toni Braxton, Boys 2 Men, Bobby Brown, and George Michael. "Never Had A Chance" was shot in New York Club by director Jonathan Jardine featuring the R&B singing group IVXample as back up singers.
