Spring 1999

Bill has been doing great this spring. We're working on gaining back some weight he lost this winter, boy that horse can eat! He gets four times the food that Pokey gets and still looks skinny! We have begun more work on the lunge and have done some very light riding. He is an amazing animal. Bill responds wonderfully to voice commands and has a nice floaty trot. When he doesn't have his head straight up in the air, he exhibits the characteristics of a lovely dressage prospect. His workmanlike attitude makes him a joy to exercise. So far no bucks and not even a run away attempt. I can't wait to really get going with him!
