To my special friend Bob... (ZINGER) for making, with so much love
and care, this very special angel picture for me. You are truely a
special friend..

My son Jacob fought a very long and hard battle with HIV. His courage and fortitude
were unmeasurable next to his beauty and innocence. He taught me about love and acceptance
of any human being, no matter what the outer shell or circumstances present. He taught me
that when faced with adversity, its not proper to turn your back on the ones that you love,
and that even the stranger needs a hug. He is truly my little hero. The song you hear playing
is a tribute to his courage, his stamina, his fight, and his life, for he was nothing short of
being "The Hero"...I love you little Jacob, and I miss you.

Allow   me   to   introduce   myself...

Hi, and welcome to my house, please excuse the dust, I am still under construction. Have a seat and by all means, take off your shoes. I guess you want to know all about me. Well...let's see.. let's get the stats over with first...I am Mikki, and Mikki is short for Michaela, which is pronounced Ma-Kay-La. I am 30 years old, 5'5" tall and weigh 110 pounds. I have long curly blondish, brown hair, and very dark brown eye's. Ok, that's what I look like, now...I am a Physical/Massage Therapist for an elementary school here in Ohio, and I love my work. My hobbies include, music, dancing,and singing, but, my passion is for writing. I write mostly poetry and short stories. Let me share some of my favorite's with you.

I hope you enjoyed these, some of them were inspired by people that I have met on the internet. This is such a great place to meet people. I am totally addicted to chatting and you can usually find me in "thirty-something"...(thank you Hatter) or on ICQ, or possibly even freetel. Pretty pathetic huh? But hey, you're as bad as I am or you would not be looking at my page. I believe very strongly in three things...honesty, being a true friend, and real love. I also believe in romance and passion, and I love the idea of being in love. I have a very special cyber friend that I care for very deeply. Let's see...did I leave anything out? Oh, yes...I have a Siberian Huskie dog named Mia, and 3 cats.Can't think of much else to say, so..if I left anything out, just come back to the chat room and I'd be happy to answer any questions. I would like to at this time say a few words about something that has had a big impact on my life....HIV. It seems like such an ugly word, and it is. However it is not a word to be feared, nor is it a disease to be feared. My son Jacob contracted HIV through a blood supplement that he had at birth. Below you will read what this has meant to me and how it affected my life. What I want to say here is that the fight against this deadly disease is very far from over, and everyday new treatments and new discoveries
are being made. In an effort to better understand this disease and to help fight its cause I want to urge just a few things....

• Educate yourself on the prevention
  and spreading of HIV

• Do not fear those who are infected, you cannot get it from
  a hug, or through the internet.

• When considering a gift for someone who has it all, consider
  making a cash donation in their name to the Aids Research
  Foundation of your choice, or make one just because you care.

• If looking for a place to volunteer your time, consider
  doing it with AIDS patients, they need to know that people care.

• Remember the children, they are the innocent victims of this
  tragic disease, and give them a hug.

caring, and a budding writer. You will always be my friend.

MARCO POLO - The only one to have actually had a cyber funeral with
me, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the music.

LGK & - These two wrote the book on love and romance and true
MUNCHKIN - dedication. A true love is their's and one to be treasured

HATTER - Everyone's lover is someone's big brother...

GROPER - My special friend from down under, we know what we share.

and truly understands how I think, God smiled down on me the day he brought him into my life
