BEIJING-XIAN EXTENSION.

DAY 13: Early morning flight on South China Air from GuangZhou to Beijing. After check-in at the hotel we will visit the Temple of Heaven and the fascinating Silk Market. Overnight at 3 star hotel in Beijing. B.L.D

DAY 14: Morning visit to the Imperial Palace (all 9,999 rooms) inside the Forbidden City. Early evening, we will take a narrated pedi-cab tour of Hutong (Old Beijing) and later we will be treated to an acrobatic show. B.L.D

DAY 15: Finally, we will visit the Great Wall in the morning, followed by a visit to the Ming Tombs in the afternoon. For dinner we will feast on a Peking-Duck banquet. Overnight train to X¡¯ian in soft sleeper. B.L.D

DAY 16: Arrive Xian in the morning, we will visit the Ancient City Wall, Bell Tower and the Dayan Pagoda, also known as the Wild Goose Pagoda. Overnight at 3 star hotel in Xian. B.L.D

DAY 17: Morning visit to Banpo Museum. Discovered in 1953, this Neolithic Village holds the remains of ancient YangShao culture from 4500 BC until 3700 BC. Next we will transfer to the Hua Qing Hot Springs, once enjoyed by emperors. In the afternoon, we will visit the ruins of first emperor Qin. Also known for its Terra Cotta Soldiers, this tomb holds over 6,000 hand shaped, life size terra cotta warriors and their horses in full war regalia. These warriors served as the Imperial Bodyguard to ancient emperors. The site is currently under excavation by archeologists from all over the world and their work should continue for many years to come. Evening show at Tang Dynasty dinner theater performance. B.L.D

DAY 18: Morning visit the Xian Museum and explore the old city, afternoon flight from Xian to GuangZhou. More opportunities for sightseeing and last minute shopping. Overnight at world famous 5 star ¡°White Swan¡± Hotel in the historical district of Shammian Island. B.L.D

Day 19: Sumptuous breakfast extravaganza in the hotel, then we board an Express Trans-Border bus bound to Hong Kong International Airport. Noon arrival just in time for early afternoon flight departures. Arrival in North America is usually on morning of the same day. B

YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE EXTENSION

Day 13: Sumptuous breakfast extravaganza in the hotel then airport transfer for your flight to WuHan. After arrival, you will motor coach to Yichang, the gateway to the Yangtze River Gorges. Here, enjoy a city tour before boarding your luxurious River Cruiser. Settle into your cabin and enjoy the numerous amenities. Overnight onboard the 4 or 5 star cruiser.B.L.D

Day 14: Morning depart Yichang, Sailing through the Xiling Gorge, sightseeing at the Three Gorges Dam. Today spend the day cruising along one of the world's finest stretches of river scenery. First, dock and visit the ongoing Yangtze Dam project, the world largest hydroelectric power construction site. You wll enjoy a lecture on the progress, view a model of the completed dam and savor the scenic views. B.L.D

Day 15: Visit the ShenNong Stream, sailing through the Wu Gorge and the Qutang Gorge. B.L.D

Day 16: On the cruise, visit the ¡°Ghost Town¡± of FengDu and explore the local temples. A shore excursion will be included. Tonight, enjoy a farewell banquet and cultural show on board. B.L.D

Day 17: Morning arrival in ChongQing, followed by a city tour. Afternoon flight to GuangZhou. Overnight at world famous 5 star White Swan Hotel located in the historical district of Shammian Island. B.L.D

Day 19: Sumptuous breakfast extravaganza in the hotel, then we board an Express Trans-Border bus bound to Hong Kong International Airport. Noon arrival, just in time for early afternoon flight departures. Arrival in North America is usually on morning of the same day. B

OTHER EXTENSIONS.
