TRIP PRICES: 13 Day Bike Tours are US$1,880 PPDO(Per Person based on Double Occupancy). That's an incredibly low rate of only US$140/Day All Inclusive. Our Beijing/X'Ian Extensions are US$1,188 PPDO. Single Room Supplement are US$490 for the Bike Tour and US$190 for the Extensions.

KUMMING/LIJIANG/TIGER LEAPING GORGE TRIP.

DAY 1: Departure from North America. Lose one day crossing the International Dateline. Non-stops flights available from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Vancouver.

DAY 3: Hong Kong. Arrive at Hong Kong Airport, with an easy transfer to our hotel by shuttle bus. You will meet with other participants of the group and overnight at a 3-star hotel located in the heart of the city. The rest of the day is at leaisure for shopping or sightseeing.

Day 4. Kunming. After an early breakfast in the hotel, we'll leave for Guangzhou by morning express through train. After Lunch we'll take the afternoon flight to Kunming, the provincial capital of Yunnan Province, with a population of 3.6 million, the city is known as "City of Spring" or "City of Flowers". Meet and transfer to our hotel in the city center. We'll have a sightseeing-tour in the city, if time permits. In the evening we'll enjoy the welcome dinner with famous Yunnan local flavors. Overnight at 3 star hotel in Kunming. (B.L.D).

Day 5: Dali. Early breakfast in our hotel, then we'll transfer to the ancient city of Dali by bus (about 3 hours). Dali is home to over 1.5 million Bai minority people and it is renowned for the distinctive and elegant architectural style of the Bai people, who are still the largest population group on this former capital of the Nanchao Kingdom, also Dali is the largest trading center and a major transportation hub in western Yunnan Province, and is well known for its batik handicrafts and high quality marble. After lunch we will take the bicycles for a test ride and adjustments, then we will cycle about 20 km to Park of Three Pagodas and around the old city of Dali. There are plenty of places to explore or cafes to visit or just cruise around its cobblestone streets. Tonight we will enjoy a special dinner with famous Dali local flavors. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Dali.( B.L.D ).

Day 6: Dali. This morning we jump on our bicycles to cycle on the scenic and rolling road around the gorgeous Er Hai Lake (60km ). We skirt the shores of this huge inland sea, passing through fishing villages and farming communities. The Cang Shan Mountains rise behind Dali city as we cycle around it. Picnic lunch on the road. Alternatively visit the colorful Shaping markets and the preserved architecture of Xizhou. Overnight at 3-star hotel in Dali. ( B.L.D)

Day 7: LI Jiang. LI Jiang Scenic Area is situated in Li Jiang Naxi Nationality Autonomous County Yunnan Province, which is the famous cultural city of history. Early breakfast at hotel, then we'll drive out of Lijiang city, we cycle about 80 km through rolling and beautiful countryside with small farms. Picnic on the road. Cycling to Lijiang will bring us into the local rural life as we pedal through several Naxi and Yi minority villages. In the late afternoon we will transfer by bus to Lijiang, listed as UNESCO World Heritage site of ageless charm. It's also home of the Naxi, an ancient matriarchal society, descended from Tibetan nomads. Overnight at 4-star hotel in Lijiang. ( B.L.D )

Day 8: LI Jiang. Today We cycle 36 km to Yunshanping of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. At this scenic spot a ski lift has been built and we can admire the majestic snow capped peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain above us. More cycling on quiet tar-sealed roads takes us through misty pine forests. In the afternoon we will cycle to Baisha Village, once the capital of Naxi Kingdom, famous for its Buddhist frescoes and visit Black Dragon Pool from where you can enjoy the picturesque view of the Jade Snow Mt Reflecting in this Jade Spring Water; stopping at the small Dongba Culture Research Center to learn about their distinctive Dongba pictographic characters and religion. Later we will explore the town's ancient cobblestone alleyways and canals that are home to the intriguing Naxi minority people. Overnight at 3-star hotel in Lijiang.

Day 9: TIGER LEAPING GORGE. Today set off along the Tibetan Highway for dramatic Tiger Leaping Gorge. We will drive over hilly and beautiful mountains to the ancient Stone Drum Town set on the first bend of the Yangtze River. Here the Yangtze makes a sudden V-shaped bend, nearly 180-degrees, and creates beautiful views. At the river's bend stands Stone Drum (Shigu) Town, named after a drum-shaped marble plaque commemorating the victory of Lijiang's Naxi ruler over an invading Tibetan army. We cycle to the famous Stone Drum Town along the beautiful river (round trip 20 km), then we continue to cycle about 45 km to the dramatic Tiger Leaping Gorge, the world's deepest gorge tucked between Yulong Snow Mountain and the Haba Snow Mountain. The whole magnificent Grand Canyon is 28 km long and 190 meters high drop on the Golden Sand River of the upper reaches of Yangtze River. You will see Yangtze River literally leaping through the narrow gorge. Visit the upper Tiger Leaping Gorge. Overnight at Yi Xiang Hotel in the town of Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Day 10: Tiger Leaping Gorge. This morning we cycle around the dramatic Tiger Leaping Gorge and the Yangtze River, known here as the Jinsha River (round trip about 70 km ). In the afternoon we will trek the Tiger Leaping Gorge (Round trip about 5 km). Here we can admire the majestic snow capped peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Mountain above us.Overnight at Yi Xiang Hotel in the town of Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Day 11. Breakfast at the hotel, then we cycle 60km on scenic and challenging road to Shangri-La (Zhongdian). Picnic lunch on the road, in the afternoon we cycle through beautiful Tibetan villages to Zhongdia. Visit the Songzanlin Monastery which was built 300 years ago under the instruction of the 5th Dalai Lama, now there are still 800 monks and 3 living Buddha inside. Overnight at 4- star hotel in Shangri-La.

Day 12. Breakfast iat the hotel, then we'll transfer to the airport for our flight via Kunming to Guangzhou. Overnight at the 4-star hotel in Guangzhou.(B,L,D).

Day 13: Early breakfast in the hotel, then we will cross the border and transfer to the Hong Kong airport by direct express bus for an afternoon flight departure. Arrival in the USA early afternoon of the same day. (B).
