"It amaze's me," said the fidgeting kid as 
I looked back his way. I looked over to the
girl and noticed that she had huge hearing 
aids. "No one just seems to know I'm alive,"
he said to my profile.

"That blows," I said polishing off my mason 
jar. I reached over to the pitcher between
the arguing trio.

"The Boss gobbles my 'nads for Christ's sake,"
siad Ernie as he polished off his mason jar 
and reached for the pitcher I was emptying.

"I just seem to be a fixture," said the edgy 
kid. His voice seemed off in the distance.
