Richard Burnett(1813-1871) b. Campbell Co. VA, parents and siblings unknown, m.1st Nancy Saunders 19DEC1833, in Campbell Co.VA. Quaker marriage records show the surety as Ralph Crowley(Crawley). The 1840 census lists them as living in Clinton Co.OH. Census of 1850-Highland Co.OH, with Robert Tyler, age 14, b. OH. Census of 1860 also in Highland Co, Robert not listed. Nancy died after the census was taken, but I have not found a record of it.

Richard m.2nd Mary Rowe 31MAR1866, in Highland Co.OH. They had four boys born before Richard died on 27Mar1871, in Highland Co.OH.

    Help me find Richard's family

    I have not been having much luck locating the parents or siblings of Richard, my GGGrandfather. I do have what I hope could be pieces of this puzzle. The biggest one is that Ralph Crowley(Crawley), the surety for Richard and Nancy [ m.19DEC1833-Campbell Co.VA], married Lucy BURNETT on 13AUG1825.[Also in Campbell Co] Were Lucy and Richard related?

    In neighboring Bedford Co, within a year of the marriage of Richard Burnett and Nancy Saunders, Thomas Saunders married Sabre Burnett. Were either or both related?
