Sue tests the extent of her enhanced force field powers. Johnny goes on a date with Frankie Raye, but its interrupted by the rampaging Crusader. The Torch attacks him but is forced to withdraw and call the rest of the team. The Crusaders kills the man he had set out to murder. The FF regroup and prepare to go after the Crusader. |

Reed continues to worry about the strain of using his powers. Meanwhile, the Crusader continues his crazed rampage, a vendetta against those he feels is responsible for contributing to the destuction of the colony of Uranus. The FF confront the Crusader and the battle leads to his unfortunate self-destruction. |

The FF engage the Hulk and capture him as part of an agreement with the military to use Reed's psi-am gadget to cure Banner. The device works but the Thing, who's always shared a bond with the Hulk, can stand to see him imprisoned decides the free Banner and team up with the Hulk. |

With Ben Grimm now powerless, Reed is forced to act to maintain the Fantastic Four's charter and hires Power Man. They get their first test as a team when the Wrecker goes on a rampage. A stubborn and determined Ben Grimm joins the battle but just ends up getting in the way. The Wrecker is defeated and Power Man delivers the final coup de grace. |

Reed unveils his Thing exo-skeleton and Ben quickly puts it through its paces. Power Man, controlled by the Puppet Master, frees him from prison. The Fantastic Four intercept them and the Thing takes on Power Man one-on-one. The rest of the team recaptures the Puppet Master and frees Power Man from his control. |
