Jt Style |
| Seattle | 65-45 | Curt Schilling, Mariano Rivera any better one-two combination in Jt's? |
| Colorado | 63-47 | Tough pull-pen, not much power wise past Alou |
| Montreal | 62-48 | What's gotten into David Justice? 41 bombs, 117 RBI's. Trevor Hoffman is just being Trevor Hoffman 15 saves 1.94 era. |
| Cleveland | 61-49 | Nice balanced offensive attack with Manny leading the way. Pitching staff could use a little help, besides Rob Nen who is closing the door on opponents with 27 saves. |
| Toronto | 59-48 | Scott Rolen could be a 30-30-30 guy if he'd pick up the pace on the bases, with 12 stolen bases 26 doubles and 30 homers. |
| Anaheim | 59-48 | Jeter and Hudson are having pretty good seasons. |
| Yankees | 59-51 | Strong offense, Bonds leading the way with 41 homers, Darryl Kile is having a good season holding down the rotation from there the Starting pitching slopes down, as the offense of this team goes so goes the rest. |
| Philadelphia | 57-50 | Delgado and Guerrero make up the heart of this lineup, two great hitters! Pitching is holding up fairly well so far, no real good closer though could come to haunt them later in the year. |
| Detroit | 59-52 | Not a lot of offense from this team at all. Pedro, like usual, is almost an automatic win every time he takes the rubber. Not a bad closer in Jeff Shaw |
| Pittsburgh | 59-52 | Very well could be the best offense in NL maybe in the whole league. A-rod, I-rod, Chipper, Erstad, Giambi, Chavez, and Jenkins can all hit the long ball and hit for a decent average. Going to have to make some pitching moves if they plan on winning it all. |
| Arizona | 56-51 | Pretty well rounded team. Decent power, decent pitching, nothing overwhelming but enough in both areas to get the job done, |
| Houston | 57-53 | Once again a extremely tough offense with no pitching. Starting to see a pattern here. |
| New York Mets | 55-52 | Average hitting team, Piazza is having a good offensive year. Above average starting pitching, Randy Johnson the ace of the staff. Bullpen needs help Koch cant do it all himself. |
| Oakland | 53-57 | Pretty good hitting team, pitching ERA is rather high, not a bad overall team but not that great either. |
| Kansas City | 52-60 | Other than Kevin Brown there is not much SP or RP, not much hitting either, need to make some off season moves. |
| St. Louis | 51-63 | Sheffield is having a great year, batting .338 with 43 dingers. Maddux seems to be having a rough year with an ear of 4.40. |
| Atlanta | 48-62 | They have the Crime Dog Fred McGriff! |
| Tampa Bay | 43-64 | They are just about as bad as the real Devil Rays! |
| Milwaukee | 41-71 | Mediocre all across the board |
| Minnesota | 39-75 | Please order Tom Emanski's Instructional Video Tapes during the off season and train hard. |
