Project Enceladus will progress with this sequence:

Stage 1   OUR TEAM
Assembling an international project group. Introductions; General discussion.

Stage 2   RESEARCH
Gathering of earthquake data, including geologic and other scientific predictive material, alternative predictive methods, and general earthquake scientific and historical data. The emphasis will be on astrological indicators. A data bank of published resources, web sites, and astrological articles will be presented on a web site accessible to the general public.

Stage 3    ASTROLOGICAL INDICATORS
Deciding which astrological indicators can be used to analyze any earthquake chart. The emphasis will be on clear and easy to use indicators, as opposed to complex techniques that few astrologers could use or understand.

Stage 4    HYPOTHESES
General hypotheses will be made as how astrological indicators could be used in predicting the time of an earthquake (or the inability to do such prediction). Geographic locality and the length of time will be considered.

Stage 5   ANALYSIS PART A
Assignment of specific earthquake charts for individual research members to analyze, for a small set of earthquake charts (e.g. 15).  Each member will use a different set of indicators for their analysis.

Stage 6    ANALYSIS PART B
Further analysis will be made of a second, larger set of earthquake charts.

Stage 7   CONCLUSIONS OF ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES
The data from Stages 5 and 6 will be compiled and common themes (or the lack of) will be concluded.

Stage 8    TESTING THE HYPOTHESES
Testing individual astrologers (who are not members of the research team) to see if they can 'predict' an earthquake within certain time parameters. Past earthquakes will be used, providing the astrologer being tested is not aware of the date or time. Different time frames will be used, from an hour or less, to a day, week, or longer.

Stage 9     PUBLICATION TO OUR WEB SITE
All research to be published on a publicly accessible web site, free of copyright as long as the source and authors (project members who wish to me mentioned) are quoted.

Stage 10     PUBLICATION IN A PERIODICAL
Our research findings will appear in at least one major magazine or newsletter.

Stage 11     RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FURTHER RESEARCH
Individual project members can suggest their ideas for further investigations. If the majority of project members agree, we can make group recommendations. Software suggestions will be included.

Stage 12    CONTINUATION OF THIS PROJECT
With sufficient interest by active researchers, Project Enceladus will continue through 2002.
All members of the astrological community are invited to submit material for this web site, along with relevant scientific, alternative, and non-astrological items.
