Hi! Fifa addict, I would like to introduce you to the game Fifa96. I'm sure you already know how to play the game, so i will simply teach you how to score goals. Here goes.......
Corner Kicks:
1. The curler is the best tactic to use when taking corner kicks. I can guarantee you 100% goals if you have enough practise. To curl the ball in, cross the ball using CTRL to the far post at the height of the penalty spot. This is quite difficult to understand, but try figuring it out. Then, when you kick the ball, press left and the ball will curl in. The time to press left is when you hear the sound of the ball being kicked. For those whose game has no sound due to some reason, the time to press left is when you see the ball being kicked. Remember, press left only once, otherwise the ball will go wide.
2. Cross the ball to either the far or near post and your player will be there to give the ball the magic touch.
Free Kicks
1. If the free kick is given to you somewhere in your own half, cross the ball to the other end of the field. Hold down CTRL a bit longer and switch control to another player and run down the field to get the ball. The defenders would have jumped and tried to head the ball, and failed, giving you a 1-on-1 chance with the keeper. The magic touch is yours to give.
2. If the ball is given somewhere near the midfield line, simply pass the ball to one of your players. This is the only way I can give to keep possesion of the ball.
3. If the free kick is in the opponents half, not at the sides, loop the ball to the penalty spot. One of your players will give the ball a finishing touch. This is a 100% way. If the free kick is given at the sides. below the penalty spot, try using the curler way ( see CORNER KICKS).
Other ways
1. Run along the side line straight. When you reach the height of the opponent's penalty spot, loop the ball into the box and your player will head it in. An easy way that works 95% of the time, if done correctly.
2. This is a good way of getting pass the opponent's defence. Simply chip of rainbow flip the ball over every defender that tries to tackle you and you will soon get pass the defence because the defenders will try to head the ball and fail, but you run below them and get the ball. The chip is easier to master than the flip. Don't hold down CTRL too long, though.
3. When you get 1-on-1 with the keeper, wait for him to come out to meet you. Just as he is about to reach you, shoot and the ball will go into the goal. Your timing must be very good.
