Research continues and a detailed family tree is available.Iman Kakebeeke in Goes and Wiet Wim Hopperus Buma in Warnsveld are actively involved. There are Kakebeekes spread throughout the world ; in Scotland, Ireland,Switzerland,South Africa,New Zealand,etc. In North America, several strains exist including 4 U.S. strains some with changed spelling following their emigration. So there are Kakabakers, and Kakabeekes, in Michigan as well as Kakebeekes in Seattle,Vancouver ( my brother,Johannes Cornelus...Kees..or Ian..), and Alberta .
