PI - Soon after he proposes to her, Terry's boyfriend Cliff dies in a car accident. As she struggles with this loss, she meets Ed, a
free spirit who has made it his mission to get her back into the swing of things. But Terry isn't ready to let go, and secretly hopes
to contact Cliff from beyond. An understated style focuses the film on the characters, and it works quite well. The theme of
dealing with loss almost sneaks up on you. There are some technical problems, like bad optical compositing, and some
awkward camerawork, but the powerful story makes up for all that. Acting is also a bit uneven. Theresa (who plays Terry),
never quite conveys the love she has for Cliff. Recommended.
