Some Day My Prince Will Come By Kyoko Godaikun It was a rare day off for SMAP. Four of it's members where bored silly. Almost as bored as student right before school let out. A local tycoon had invited the SMAP members to an old fashioned ball. They where hanging around at Shingo's apartment. "I've got an idea!" Tsuyoshi said. "Let's all wear dresses to the ball!" "I might dress up, but I don't look like a girl." Goro-Chan said firmly. Tsuyoshi began laughing. "Hey Shingo-Chan!" Shingo opened the bedroom door. He was pulling on his shirt. "Yes, Tsu-chan." "Goro-Chan says he doesn't look like a girl." That made Shingo laugh. "Good one." "What is?" Kimura asked, coming into the room. He was fastening his jeans. Tall, handsome, long hair. What else could a man want in a man? Kimura was Goro-Chan's man of his dreams. Unfortunately he had this tendency to have everyone in SMAP. Except of course for the group's lone virgin. "They say I look like a girl." Goro-Chan pouted. "You do." Kimura smiled. "A very pretty girl, Goro-Chan." "He's almost as cute as Ko-Chan!" Shingo chortled. It finally sunk in why he had always been called Goro-Chan. He stomped his foot. "I'm a man. I won't wear a dress." "Of course you're a man." Tsuyoshi smiled. "You can still wear a dress." The room suddenly felt very stuffy. "I need some air." *************** "What happened to Goro-Chan?" Tsuyoshi asked clueless as ever. "We just said he was pretty." Shingo added. "No, we said he looked like a girl." Kimura said. "What's wrong with that?" "Kintagawa used to call Goro-Chan his little girl." Kimura reminded him. "Back when the group first formed." "How would we know that?" Shingo asked. "If you remember, Goro-Chan joined us later." "He was calling him that when he first joined us." Kimura growled. "We called him that. To his face." "We used to be so mean to him. We stole all of his hair bows and eye shadow!" Shingo agreed. "But that was years ago. We're friends now." "Just yesterday, he let me borrow his lipstick!" Tsuyoshi smiled. "I shouldn't have said he looked like a girl." "Of course, you Baka! He looks like a woman!" Kimura corrected. "It's just he's so beautiful." Shingo sighed. "If only we could have him." "I'm going to go find him." Kimura left. "Let's follow!" Shingo said. After about thirty minutes, Kimura found the prettiest member of SMAP. He was looking into a mirror and put on a fresh coat of peach lipstick. "So this is where you're hiding." "I needed some time to think." He put up the lipstick, and began to fluff his hair. "Can I join you?" "Sure." Goro-Chan shrugged. He put up the mirror. Kimura sat down beside him. "Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't know you where still so sensitive." "What do you mean?" The door to the stairs opened, and Shingo and Tsuyoshi joined them. They sat across from the pair. "K-San used to call you girl-Chan." Kimura reminded him. "I'm sorry. I should develop a thicker skin." Goro-Chan said. "It just reminded me of some bad memories." "Of being abused?" Kimura guessed. "You where tortured in some horrid way that only fan fiction authors can think up?" "No, of the time I first joined SMAP." He said. "I didn't feel welcome for a very long time. What you guys where saying, made me feel as if perhaps you only pretend to be my friend. If you still felt the way you guys did all those years ago." "What do you mean?" Shingo asked. "When I first joined, the group was all ready into each other. You had orgies without me!" Goro-Chan closed his eyes. "Did you guys really think I didn't hear you?" "I still don't understand." Tsuyoshi asked puzzled. "We weren't bonking each other then." "Well, much!" Shingo admitted. "You didn't want me in the group. You where pretty open about it. You stole all my make-up! It wasn't my fault Johnny used to make me wear bows." There was pain in Goro's voice. "How Johnny's girl couldn't sing, couldn't dance. How it would be better without me. Didn't you guys realize I could hear you?" There was a long pause. "You wouldn't even let me borrow your eye shadow!" "That was so long ago." Shingo said. "That's because you where in diapers when you joined SMAP." Kimura pointed out. "I was twelve!" Shingo said hotly. "Baby!" Kimura teased. "We've always regretted how we behaved." Tsuyoshi said. 'Can't you ever forgive us?" "I've forgiven you. But it's hard to forget." Goro-Chan batted his eyelashes. 'When you said I looked like a girl, it brought it all back." "We only said that because you're so beautiful." Kimura said. "Women are beautiful." Goro-Chan pointed out. "Why can't men be beautiful too?" Kimura asked. "You're far more beautiful then any woman." "You don't have to go, if you don't want to." Shingo said. "We'll go to the ball without you." "I don't want to stay in my apartment alone." Goro-Chan said. "Besides, if you know the truth, you might not think too well of me." "What's the truth?" "I'm gay and I like to wear dresses." Shame burnt Goro-Chan's face. "I enjoy being a girl!" "That's okay. We're all gay." Shingo smiled. "Yeah, and we all like to wear dresses!" Tsuyoshi said with a smile. Kimura whacked Tsuyoshi on the head. "Since when did I cross dress?" "Okay, everyone except for Kimura like to wear dresses." He corrected. "That's cause he's weird!" Another whack. "I'm not weird, I'm macho!" "Yes, every group has to have a macho man!" Shingo snorted. "You know, you're the only one that none of us have slept with!" Tsuyoshi said bubbly. "I bet you're still a virgin!" "What's wrong with being a virgin?" Goro-Chan asked. "Since we got you out of the closet, who will be the first lucky one?" Shingo asked. "No one! I'm waiting for my prince." Goro-Chan said. "You want to be with Domoto Koichi?" Tsuyoshi asked, as clueless as ever. "No! I'm waiting for a strong macho prince." Goro-Chan gave Kimura a long lustful look. "Someday, my prince will find me. He'll look just like Tuxedo Kamen." **************** That night the members of SMAP went to the ball. Goro-Chan was surprised to see that at this ball, girls were boys and boys were girls. *What a crazy mixed up world.* He thought. As he smoothed down his little black dress. He looked for Kimura. His macho band-mate was no where to be found. Then he saw it. The tall, macho prince of his dreams. He was dressed exactly like Tuxedo Kamen in Sailor Moon, even down to the mask! The prince was dancing will Nakai who was wearing a scarlet taffeta ball gown. "Why don't you dance?" Shingo asked. The man was dressed in exactly the way Shingo-Mama wasn't. Wearing a drop dead gorgeous indigo dress. "I see him." Goro-Chan said. "Just look at him!" "Which one?" "The one dancing with Nakai." Goro-Chan sighed. "He is a man isn't he?" "Oh yeah, that one is a man!" Shingo slinked to the man, and tried to get him to dance. But the masked man only shook his head. Then the masked man laid eyes on Goro-Chan. He waltzed over to him. He didn't speak, only held his hand out to him. Goro-Chan shyly held out his gloved hand. The prince led him out onto the dance floor. The two men danced and danced for most of the night. All the time, the prince never talked to him. Goro-Chan felt as if he was in a dream. When the prince led him to a bedroom, he gave his virtue to the masked man. After words, as Goro-Chan sighed. "Great, I lost it. And I don't know who to." "You really want to know?" The prince finally asked. He was only wearing his mask. "Yes, I want to know!" Goro-Chan insisted. "Are you sure you want to know?" "Please?" "Positive?" "Yes!" Goro-Chan shouted. The masked man touched a pin on the back of his head, and his hair spilled to his shoulders. Then he took off the mask. It was Kimura. "Oh god. Now I'm going to have to sleep with the rest of the group?" Goro-Chan moaned. "I bet this was some kind of bet." "You belong to one man." Kimura reached out, stroking Goro-Chan's cheek. "I've been looking all my life for my princess. I found her." "Me?" "Of course, you Baka!" Kimura growled. "I didn't wear this stupid mask for Nakai did I?" "I don't know. Did you?" "Of course I didn't." Kimura ordered. "So shut up, and get back in bed!" "Yes, my prince!" Goro-Chan got back in bed. And they lived happily ever after.
