Brought up on Piquet, Fittipaldi and Senna, Zonta began Karting in 1986
and will hope that his meteoric rise can continue with good results in
Formula1. 1998 Signs as
test driver for the victorious Mclaren team,
and also drives for one of two Mercedes teams in the FIA's Grand Touring
Championship, winning five races and the championship. 1997 Gets his first
taste of F1 action when he test drives Jordan's 1998 car. Wins Formula
3000 championship with
Super Nova team 1996 Contests European Formula
