Collins passes Tittle into 4th

Kerry Collins continues to inch his way up the Giants' all-time passing charts, going by Y.A. Tittle for fourth place on the franchise's all-time list.

Collins needed just 99 yards against the Seahawks yesterday to jump over Tittle, who threw for 10,439 yards in his four seasons with the team (1961-64). That's as high up the charts Collins will get this year, thoughm as he is far behind Frank Tarkenton (13,905), Charlie Conerly (19,488) and the all-time leader, Phil Simms (33,462).

Collins entered the game with 19,849 yards, needing just 151 to become the 70th QB in NFL history to reach 20,000. He was also looking to tie an NFL record with his sixth straight 300-yard game and to win the 50th game of his NFL career as a starting QB.
