He got his B.A Degree in law from College of Law, Baghdad in 1945. He married Zahra Ahmad Al-Hussayni in 1951.

He worked all his life in commerce and industry. He was an active member at the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce and Baghdad Union of Industry from forties till seventies.

He was a pioneer of envelope and stationary industry in the region.

He died in Duseldorf, Germany in 1981 of heart attack.
