Dear fellow Tajik, Today we are facing annihilation as a people. More than ever before, we are constantly being challenged and pressed with overwhelming political, social, cultural and economic problems that are imposed on us. Our ancient land is in abyss, ruined and occupied. Our independence is in danger. Our identity is under assault and our culture and our history is being destroyed in front of our eyes. The way out of our today’s appalling condition is not so easy. Our problems are burden that we need to pull collectively. We will surely overcome the adversity of our present time. With firm commitment, resilience and confidence we will succeed in overcoming the challenges we are facing today. However, we need to shake ourselves and wake up from our long slumber. We need to prepare to meet our problems face to face. We should stop pretending as if nothing is happening. It is a matter of our survival as a distinct people. It is a national obligation of every Tajik to take an active part in awakening our dormant people and show them the enormous dangers that threaten our very existence. This web site is a small step on my part to provide accurate
information about Tajiks, their history, culture, and heritage for both
Tajiks and the world. The purpose of this web site is to become a source
of inspiration for our young Tajiks and instill in them a sense of pride,
and nationalism emphasizing the necessity for reestablishment of unity
of the scattered Tajik nations. It is the intention of this web site to
become a focal point for all the active Tajik nationalists who believe
in the reestablishment of our lost country, the land of sun, KHORASAN.
