The Huck-A-Bucks

This group is also being nudged along by a go-go long-timer; the Hucks are managed by Charlie Fenwick, who used to handle Hot, Cold Sweat. Unlike the Groovers, the Hucks emphasize the classic early-'80s go-go sound. The percussion is right up front, and not just in "The Congo Drum Mix." All of these tracks are party tunes, and the most fun may be the count-along "It's Time (64x's)." Fenwick--or someone--has taught these musicians well: The liner notes give thanks "to all the parents who constantly brought and picked us up from the band practice."
